Flavor Flav Could Face Felony Charges After Domestic Violence Arrest

This week wasn’t a good one for Flavor Flav, and it definitely wasn’t a good one for his fiancée and her son.

Flavor (whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton) was arrested early Wednesday morning (around 3:30 a.m.) on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence (battery) and felony assault with a deadly weapon.

According to police reports, during an argument at his Las Vegas home, Flav threw his fiancée to the ground at least twice and threatened to cut her 17-year-old son up while wielding two different knives. The young man also told police that Flav knocked in his bedroom door as well as threatened to kill him, though the rapper denies this.

Apparently, as a result of the fight, the woman had an earring ripped out of her ear and Flav cut his finger with one of the knives he was waving around.

Flav’s bail was set at $23,000 but has since been released.
