Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Leon Blogs About Folding Her Mum’s Underwear

Madonna might not be your typical mom, but she’s more ‘normal’ than you might think, at least given her life circumstances.

Sure, she’s been crazy-famous for over three decades on top of the fact that she’s a gazillionaire, but aside from that, she loves her kids like most parents do and attempts to teach them the life skills they’ll need to make it in the real world. Just ask her daughter Lourdes Leon.

The 15-year-old recently blogged about how she spent her summer vacation, and you might be surprised. Forgoing a summer filled with her closest friends, flirting with cute boys, hanging at malls and going shopping (is that what teens do? It’s been so long), instead Lourdes took a job from her mother while she was out touring and being controversial on her MDNA tour. No she wasn’t hired to be a part of the DNA team that cleans up after her mom…she folder her underwear!

Girlfriend lived to tell about it…here’s the story in her own words (written on her Material Girl Collection blog):

“I thought I would tell you all about the joys of folding underwear. As you probably know this woman I like to call my mother went on tour for her MDNA album. As a summer job I decided to work in the wardrobe department.

All of my friends were getting summer jobs and I wanted one too. Mine was a little unconventional but still a great experience and a lot of fun. Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes. Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty crazy, but I loved every minute of it!”

Lourdes goes on to mention some of her fave songs at the moment, then ends the blog like so:

“Hope all of you guys had and are having a great start to your school year always remember to choose hugs not drugs because THAT’S always been MY motto.

Stay in school bitches and make sure you are getting proper nutrients all day urrday.
