Lindsay Lohan, who is battling with her father after he tried to stage an intervention, has a new love interest – and it’s a boy.
Josh Chunn, personal trainer and former University of Louisiana Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns cheerleader. Josh and Lindsay met at a house party in WeHo, but Josh swears that partying, alcohol and drugs aren’t his thing.
Josh confirmed that he is dating Lohan, and he wants it to be known that he’s not using her, and adds that he is a good influence on the troubled actress.
“I think I’m the best influence on her. The deal is she is surrounded by a bunch of f—ups … I’ve been trying to get Lindsay to focus. But how do you get her to focus with all the stuff going on around her? I can barely focus … She’s a strong girl. She’s cleaning up. I just want her to be okay. I want us to be okay.”
Kinda weird that he’s already doing interviews about her, but I guess that’s what everyone does in Lindsay’s life.
“I’m there for Lindsay. I listen. I work hard for my money. I pay my own bill when we go out. I have a schedule. That’s the problem with these kids in L.A., they don’t have a schedule. All they want to do is party … I see all these people just waiting for her to grab the bill. I’m just trying to figure out what’s best for her at this time right now.”
You know, things like running to the New York Post to talk about her private life.
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan and her wacko mom Dina Lohan are in a battle of their own, slinging mud at one another, blaming their daughter’s problems on each other, never once looking in the mirror at themselves.
Dina lashed out at Michael’s attempt at an intervention with Lindsay saying he had ulterior motives.
“This sole act by my ex was not an intervention nor was this extreme antic sanctioned by any member of Lindsay’s family or her professional team of handlers. It’s sad and I hope he stops masquerading as her father in public and starts acting like one in private.”
Reports suggest otherwise though, we hear Lindsay’s entire management team did indeed support the intervention, and Michael. If he hadn’t released a recording (to TMZ) of a private conversation he had with Lindsay when she was sobbing about her mother being on cocaine, Lindsay might have actually taken him seriously.
So now Josh Chunn is taking on the role of Mighty Mouse, here to save the day. Good luck with that, man.
