RuPaul Admits: I ‘Live For’ Honey Boo Boo

RuPaul has declared his love and admiration for America’s sweetheart ‘Trailer Park Shirley Temple’, Miss Honey Boo Boo and her hit TV show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and I couldn’t be happier.

The Drag Race creator spoke to Yahoo! omg! about his new favorite TV show saying, “I live for that show. What keeps me there on that show is that child is pure love. She is kind. I’ve got to tell you, I’ve been on this planet a long time, at the top of my list of human virtues is kindness, and she is pure love. The things she comes up with … she’s unpredictable and just lovely! At its core, that family, they love each other and they want the best for one another and that’s just gorgeous.”

The famous drag queen says that he loves Boo Boo (birth name: Alana Thompson) so much that he wants to record a duet with her and has repeatedly tried reaching out to her to make it happen. So far, no luck.

Anyway, I’m hoping the child star feels the same way about RuPaul because after seeing a snippet of her talking to Dr. Drew, I have my worries. In the clip, she says she doesn’t like being on TV because fans come up to her and she hates it. Maybe she’s tired of doing all the press for the show, or maybe she’s just over being a celebrity, who knows?
