Jimmy Kimmel Interviews Axl Rose, Slash’s Wife Is Not Impressed

Axl Rose recently showed up for a rare interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (his first live television interview in more than 20 years!) and despite feeling a little under the weather, he seemed to be in good spirits.

The friendly chat was a bit random, talking about everything from Axl having a Halloween tree and once dressing up as an ear of corn (ha!), to answering questions from fans, but nowhere in the conversation did Axl touch on the subject we all want to hear dirt on: his ongoing and long-time feud with former Guns N’ Roses member Slash.

One person not impressed by his appearance on the show was Slash’s wife, Perla Hudson, who tuned in to the program to see what Axl had to say for himself.

“I was waiting for something enlightening and all I got was promotion for a show and his evident affinity for a chili burger,” Hudson told UsWeekly. (Axl surprised the audience by bringing a Tommy Burger’s truck to feed the show’s crowd.)

She added, “Where is the love Axl? And I stayed up for this? Sex, drugs and chili dogs. Long live Axl Rose. And a Halloween tree.”

Commenting on the new GNR lineup, Perla said, “He’s had a Slash, a Buckethead and a Bumblefoot and evidently way too many Tommy’s chili burgers! Hope there were some left for the audience!”

Woo! I guess the beef is not yet put to rest.

Side note: It’s pretty funny that Kimmel greets Axl by first saying “First of all, you’re right on time, it’s unbelievable. You’re very punctual,” with Axl responding, “It’s a miracle.” Ha! You know he’s been known to show up late to his concerts once or twice. At least he can take a joke.
