Kate Gosselin Jokes About Hurricane Sandy

What do Lindsay Lohan and Kate Gosselin have in common? For one, they’re both self-absorbed celebrities that clearly lack the ability to know when to shut their mouths. Sure only one of them has actual talent, but really they both could win an award if it required one to say something completely tactless and insensitive at the absolute worst time.

So competing with Lohan’s tweet Monday where she asked why everyone was in “SUCH a panic” about Hurricane Sandy, though she says she’s referring to it as “Hurricane Sally”, Gosselin made her own dumbass tweet on that same day writing, “Winding down now with some uber exciting Disney channel..” adding the hashtag “#SuperfunSandy”. (By the way Gosselin and her kids live in PA.)

Well, one person not amused is author Robert Hoffman, who apparently wrote a tell-all about the infamous mother of eight. In Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, Hoffman claims that Gosselin not only excessively punished her children, but was also cruel to the family’s pets.

On his blog, Hoffman goes off on Gosselin for her inconsiderate tweet saying:

“People died.

People lost their homes and all of their possessions.

People will be without power for weeks in some places.

A man died in a collapsed home near Kate Gosselin.

But she is so self-absorbed and insensitive to others that she would take to her Twitter account to declare #SuperfunSandy.

But how could anyone expect anything less from the same clueless, heartless person who described the September 11 terrorist attack as ‘the Sept 11 bombings or whatever.’”

Man, I’m not the most politically correct person, actually I’m far from it, but hearing these privileged, a-holes make asinine comments like this makes me wish they had their mouths sewn shut.
