Deftones Premiere New Album ‘Koi No Yokan’

Deftones Premiere New Album 'Koi No Yokan'

The Deftones will unleash their seventh studio album Koi No Yokan on November 13th and after hearing a generous portion of it, I’m super amped.

As promised by the band, the new record definitely brings old school Deftones aggression and passion back to titillate your eardrums but with a whole new feel.

This follows their 2010 Diamond Eyes album. The band recorded Koi No Yokan with the help of Nick Raskulinecz, who has worked with the Foo Fighters and Evanescence among others.

Quicksand’s Sergio Vega played bass on the album, temporarily filling in for Chi Cheng, who is recovering slowly but surely from a horrendous car accident in 2008 that left him in a coma. He is now said to be in a partially conscious state, and resting at home.

You can hear the Koi No Yokan trailer below.

Also, you can check out their tour dates HERE.
