Lindsay Lohan: No Barbara Walters Interview Afterall

Lindsay Lohan Fucked Up Drunk High Junkie

We were all looking forward to Lindsay Lohan‘s interview with Barbara Walters, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch that trainwreck? Barbara has a way of asking the tough questions, and even though the interview was to be centered around Lindsay’s role in the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, we hoped to hear a bit about her crazy personal life as well.

Lindsay’s new PR team caught wind that Walters WAS going to ask the tough questions and that’s why they axed the interview. After news broke that Lindsay’s expected to be charged with lying to police officers, the team decided it was best for Lindsay to avoid Walter’s probing questions so they canceled the interview.

In June Lindsay crashed into the back of a semi-truck on the PCH and afterward hopped out of the driver’s seat and into the passenger seat. She told police her assistant was driving, but the assistant was like, ‘eff that, I’m not taking the blame,’ and told police that Lindsay was in fact the one driving. Of course a gazillion people witnessed it all, so Lindsay was screwed.

Cops found a plethora of pharmaceuticals in her vehicle as well, but she had prescriptions for them all, so even though there were multiple bottles stashed in various places in the car – and she was probably on ALL of them – she won’t be getting into trouble for possession.

Obviously it’s a great move by her PR team to forbid Lohan from taking part in the Barbara Walters interview, but it’s a bummer for me, because I wanted to hear her spew more lies about how she’s sober, improving her life, growing up, etc. You know, the same crap she tries to sell us in every interview. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, she’s just like her crazy, junkie mother, who was a phucked up disaster during her last interview.

(Maybe the PR team should take control of Lindsay’s Twitter as well, she’s proven time and again that it has done more harm than good regarding her public image. Just a thought…)

Barbara Walters might have struck out, but Lohan’s PR team has OK’d Lindsay to promote Liz & Dick on The Tonight Show where Jay Leno promises to bring nothing but rainbows, unicorns and gummi bears. The episode will air November 20th, and there will be NO talk about probation, police, lying, or car accidents. Boring … but what else would we expect from Jay Leno? He should have retired years ago – just like Lindsay.
