Dave Navarro Is Into Flesh Hook Suspension

We just knew that Dave Navarro had a freaky side, but we had no idea just how far he would take it.

Over the weekend the Jane’s Addiction guitarist posted pictures on his Twitter account showing himself being pierced and suspended at Hotel Chelsea in New York. One photo showed his freshly pierced back with metal hooks embedded in his skin, blood droplets and bruises served as proof of the photo’s legitimacy although there was no doubt in our minds as to it’s authenticity. Another pic showed Dave suspending, in what they call the “suicide suspension,” where the suspendee is pierced on their back and suspended in an upright position. This specific suspension was dubbed as such due to the fact that it resembles a hanging.

Although this was my first time seeing Mr. Navarro’s flesh hook suspension, it’s not his first time. The first time Dave did an actual suspension was back in August, and the entire thing was documented on film. With dozens of tattoos covering his body and who knows how many piercings, Dave is no stranger to pain, but oh my gawd. Omgomgomgomg!
