Courtney Stodden Dropped From Stripping Gig

If Courtney Stodden isn’t busy giving 14-year-olds relationship advice or ticking off the entire cast of Couple’s Therapy, she’s doing what she knows best…taking her clothes off! For Jesus of course!

Hollywood’s original “Child Bride” and self-proclaimed super-Christian was reportedly asked to pole dance next week before Thanksgiving (Wednesday) at a West Hollywood gay club called Abbey, but TMZ is saying they’ve taken back that invitation, though no reason has been given yet as to why.

Though the newly ‘adult’ Stodden was set to work the pole, word is she wasn’t going to get fully nude or even fully topless. Given a fatter paycheck, we all know she’d do it.

I’m not a fan, yet I can’t help but write about her. Her and her creepy husband, though I’m thoroughly disgusted by their union, I’m entertained watching their train wreck relationship. I know it’s sick but she fascinates me in most bizarre way. It’s interesting to watch an attention-seeking 18-year-old with the maturity of a child get on with life like it’s all about her. Will she ever grow up and mature? I sure hope not! No, I really do. The nice part of me hopes she does, for her sake.

Update: According to E!, Courtney’s stripping gig was also going to be her ‘singing’ debut. WTF? Also this is what her momager Krista Keller had to say about why the club dropped her: ”It was too much for the Abbey to handle, too much press and controversy.” So I guess the club didn’t want to be a part of the media/paparazzi freakfest that Courtney yearns for.
