If you watch Flipping Out religiously like I do, you know Jeff Lewis can be a prick of a boss. Actually, I really, really love him and the OCD and perfectionist side of him reminds me of myself. Those aren’t necessarily attractive traits to have but we all have our weaknesses I guess.
Anyway, Jeff’s longtime assistant Jenni Pulos is an angel. She puts up with a lot from her boss and I really think they’re a good business couple. Sure one will tick the other one off once in a while but they quickly get over it. The question is, will Jenni forgive Jeff for suing her?
Thursday morning she tweeted out: “Woke up this am, being sued by your boss is really putting on the Celebrity Cinderella Slipper, Bullies Aren’t Cool.”
Apparently the house flipper filed a lawsuit against his assistant for writing a tell-all called Hang In There, Baby (the original title was Hang In There, Baby: What One of the World’s Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work and Love before she shortened it). According to court documents, by doing so, Jenni violated a confidentiality/non-disclosure agreement she signed in 2008 and 2010.
Jeff is asking the court for “a preliminary and permanent injunction” against Jenni from “publishing any and all facts/or references to events . . . related in any manner to personal, private, property and confidential information.”
Well I really love Jenni, but business is business and a deal’s a deal. He has every right to sue her. Hopefully she understands and they can work through this.
