Nikki Sixx Engaged to Courtney Bingham

It seems like Nikki Sixx is always in a relationship, and it’s always in the news. In the past few years he’s been in relationships with Kat Von D, Denise Richards and most recently model Courtney Bingham. Nikki, despite being a rockstar, just can’t be alone for any length of time. Now he and Bingham are engaged.

Bingham, 27, announced Monday morning that she and Nikki Sixx are taking their relationship to the next level. She tweeted:

“I’m so excited to share with you that @NikkiSixx and I are engaged!!!!!!!!”

The couple, who have been together since 2011, have a 26-year age difference between them and it’s caused some commotion among Sixx’s fans. After People Magazine named their Top 100 Most Beautiful People last year Nikki tweeted (in all caps):

PEOPLE MAGAZINE MAKES A LIST OF “THE 100 MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE”. THAT THIS IS A STANDARD FOR YOUNG KIDS TO FOLLOW JUST MAKES ME SICK…..I HAVE MANY ISSUES WITH THIS..A LOT OF QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED IN THE SONG “LIES OF THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE”..ARE WE NOT TEACHING THE YOUTH THEY ARE MORE THAN A NAME ON A LIST PUT OUT BY A SOME MAGAZINE?

Fans responded to him asking him how he could say such a thing when he is dating a 27 year-old model and has a track record of dating young, gorgeous women. One fan responded:

“Sorry Nikki, but I too hafta agree with some others here. I realize you’re a father and you don’t want your children falling victim to the messages of publications such as this, especially your daughters, but I have to ask…what message are they getting from their father when he publicly states he prefers to date women in their 20′s who by anyone’s standards are always ‘beautiful people’?? Just asking…”

Nikki’s ex Kat Von D isn’t a fan of Courtney’s either. The two have a track record of Twitter catfights. Wonder how she’s taking the news?

This will be Nikki’s third marriage and Courtney’s first. Do you think this relationship will last?
