Stevie Nicks Talks About The Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Scandal

Stevie Nicks Defends Kristen Stewart For Cheating On Robert Pattinson

One of the many reasons I love me some Stevie Nicks is that she’s not afraid to give you a piece of her mind. She’s honest in interviews and very open. Although she has no problems telling you Lindsay Lohan is delusional, or that she’d gladly put the smack down on Nicki Minaj, she’s also opinionated about her forgiving and nurturing side.

Case in point: Regarding 2012’s scandal of the year, Twilight’s Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson, Nicks recently weighed in with her thoughts saying that people just need to leave the girl alone.

Apparently Nicks is not only friends with Stewart and Patterson, but she also wrote a Twilight-inspired song called “Moonlight (A Vampire’s Dream)”, so consider her a Twihard for realz.

According to Us, Nicks had this to say about the whole thing: “I was her age once, and exactly what happened to her happened to me two or three times, and whoever it was that I was with forgave me all two or three times.”

“The fact is that when you’re young and you’ve been in a relationship for a long time and something comes along that is a little bit overwhelming and magical, and you’re kind of in another situation with someone else . . . Things happen.”

Regarding the Stewart-bashing that immediately came with the news going public, Nicks says: “I really always want to say to people, ‘People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.’ It’s not anything the rest of us haven’t done.”

Adds Nicks: “If what they have is that special they can overcome it, then good for [them].”

Why on Earth this woman did not procreate is beyond me. She would have been a great mother, and an even more awesome grandmother. She’d have that go-to wisdom and there’s no doubt she’d have some hella good stories!
