Once again my pal Alek in Colorado has his house and yard lit up like Times Square with Christmas lights and YOU can control them from the comfort of your own home. There are three Christmas webcams with live views of over 20,000 Christmas lights and inflatables that you can turn off or on, inflate or deflate, with the click of a mouse. Why is Alek doing all this? Well, besides the fact that he’s a little crazy, he does this annually to help raise money for Celiac disease, which affects his children. In all, Alek and his Controllable Christmas Lights have raised more than $70,000 for research! Amazing right? But he can’t do it without your help. You can make a donation from the site, or if you can’t afford it, send out a tweet, write a blog or tell your friends about the site!
