Kelsey Grammer Forbids His And Camille Grammer’s Kids From Saying Her Name

Kelsey Grammer seems to be working really hard at making sure he won’t get that “Father of the Year” award, like ever, because he’s gone and done something stupid again.

He didn’t bring his infant to a Playboy mansion party with new wife Kayte Walsh this time, nor did he put their baby in danger by driving without a car seat while leaving an airport. No, this time he’s just trying to permanently, mentally scar his two older children (Jude, 8, and Mason, 11) with ex-wife Camille Grammer by forbidding them to speak their mother’s name while under his roof.

Speaking with Anderson Cooper on his show Anderson Live (via Us), Camille talked a little about her strained relationship with her ex-husband, and how it’s affecting their co-parenting: “It’s very difficult to co-parent with someone who won’t speak to you, text you or e-mail you,” she said.

Further explaining, Camille says: “The kids at this point, which it’s kind of sad I found this out, that they are not allowed to same my name in the house, so these poor kids, my daughter and my son, can’t say my name in their father’s house. I think they can say ‘mom’ or ‘the other household,’ but they can’t say my name.”

To not be allowed to say their mother’s name is awful, but when do kids usually say their mom’s name by their actual name? I wonder if they are even allowed to say “mom” or are they just told not to mention her at all. Kelsey’s evil like that so I wouldn’t be surprised.

Anyhoo, this situation sounds a little familiar. According to Camille’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Brandi Glanville, her ex-husband (who is also a cheater, similar to Kelsey) also refuses to communicate with her even when it’s solely to do with their kids (though he denies this). Cibrian allegedly even told his kids that he couldn’t go to a parent teacher conference because their mother would be there.

These men need to put their big boy pants on and think of their children and their well being first. Grow up. And really, their new wives should be encouraging interaction with the kids, because in reality, their kids are going to be a part of their fathers’ lives forever, so get used to it.
