Stevie Wonder Writes $100k Check To Help Girl With Cancer

Stevie Wonder Donates $100k To Cancer Charity

Charlie Sheen recently showed a softer side by giving a very generous amount of money, $75,000 to be exact, to help a young with her battle with cancer, and now the legendary Stevie Wonder is doing his good deed.

While performing at the L.A. Nokia Theatre on Saturday, the 62-year-old musician asked that Jasmine Faulk, the same little girl Sheen donated to, join him onstage so that he could present her and her dad with a $100,000 check.

Following the gesture, Wonder serenaded her with his version of “Isn’t She Lovely”, to which she showed her appreciation by saying into the microphone, “I love you Stevie!” She followed that with a big hug.

Faulk, who is 10-years-old, has been diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma, and is the daughter of a Hermosa Beach police officer. TMZ notes that this particular officer has worked privately for the singer since 1997.

What a nice, heartwarming story. You should drop by Jasmine’s website. Tear-jerking photos. What a strong young lady.
