Jack Klugman Dies

Actor Jack Klugman, best known for his role as Oscar Madison on the 1970s television sitcom The Odd Couple. Klugman died at his home in Northridge, CA with his wife Peggy at his side. He was 90-years-old. The couple have two children, David and Adam.

Jack Klugman battled throat cancer in the 80s but survived the illness, but losing his voice in the process. He eventually taught himself to speak again.

His son Adam, released th following statement after his father’s death: ”He had a great life and he enjoyed every moment of it and he would encourage others to do the same.”
