Speidi on Celebrity Big Brother 2013

Yep, the rumors of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (“Speidi”) being on Celebrity Big Brother 2013 were true, the couple were the last ones to enter the CBB house during it’s premiere on Thursday.

Oh wait, did I say they entered the house? Not quite, they were banished to the basement with a handful of other CBB castmates and as of right now, we have no idea when they will be released into the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Even though it’s called “Celebrity” Big Brother, there really aren’t any big names on the show this season. Mostly British soap stars, former celebs and reality stars. The fact that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are the biggest names there says it all. Maybe they should change the name to Celebrity Wannabe Big Brother.

During Speidi’s introduction, Spencer is heard saying, “At one time I believed we were the most famous people in the world..” Perhaps one of the most talked about….but one of the mst famous? Pffft, hardly.

Anyhow, it will be interesting to see how Speidi does on CBB, whether their housemates will abhor them as much as we do, or if they will find a way to blend in and be likable…as unlikely as that sounds, it could happen. More likely though, is Spencer will have a bitch fit and his super-ego will not set well with the others. Hell, he already insulted the “celebrities” in the basement by telling them he thought they were “workers for the show”.

I think I speak for most Americans when I apologize to the UK in advance for Speidi, we aren’t all like that. Do with them what you will, because we don’t miss them, and we really don’t care if they ever make it back to this side of the pond. Toodles!
