Courteney Cox Says That David Arquette Is Still Her ‘Best Friend’

David Arquette filed for divorce from Coureney Cox last June on what would have been their 13th anniversary, but even with blow like that, Cox says she still considers her ex to be her best friend.

“He’s my best friend in the world. I love him,” Cox recently said to Ellen DeGeneres about Arquette while appearing on her daytime talk show.

She continued praising her ex-hubs by saying, “I appreciate David more now than I ever did. I mean … it’s hard. I don’t recommend divorce in general, but, you know, he is my best friend and we’ve both grown and changed.”

“I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do,“ she added.

Cox, 48, and Arquette, 41, who are parents to 8-year-old daughter Coco, actually separated in 2010 but even when they first separated, you didn’t hear about either one bad-mouthing the other to the press. It seems to have remained the same, which is great for their daughter. I am still crossing my fingers that these two will patch things up one day and get back together. They were an adorable couple!
