Millionaire Bethenny Frankel Wants Her Ex Jason Hoppy To Pay Up In Divorce Court

When I heard that Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy were headed for divorce my first thought was “Wow, he’s going to get a nice little paycheck every month”, seeing that a) they have a two-year-old daughter (Bryn) together, and b) the reality star diva sold her Skinnygirl margarita brand for $100M in 2010, while the two were married (they married in early 2010).

Well it looks like I might have things backwards because it’s now being reported that the Bravo star has filed legal documents asking for child support from Hoppy, who has made some good money with real estate, as well as for other expenses to be paid.

According to the papers, 42-year-old Frankel is asking that Hoppy, 41, pay the support retroactive to the date she filed for divorce. She’s also requesting that her and Bryn’s medical, dental, optical, therapeutic, and orthodontic expenses be paid, and she’s asking that a life insurance policy be made where she and Bryn are beneficiaries. To top that, she wants to keep their $5M residence and have Hoppy move out for good.

But just in case those requests didn’t make her ex feel like his heart was ripped from his chest while it was still beating, Frankel goes in for the kill by asking for full custody of their daughter.

TMZ says that the couple did have a prenup of course, though the details of it aren’t fully known at this time.

I think this is insanity. The woman is worth somewhere from $25-55M, and she’s asking her ex for money? And in reality, she became rich by hawking a gross margarita knockoff that was touted as “healthy” when in fact it tested positive for carcinogens. The drink is gross and so is this behavior of hers.
