The story of Journey’s new lead singer Arnel Pineda is an incredible one.

Discovered on YouTube by members of the band Journey, Arnel’s dream of singing for sold out venues quickly came true when he became the band’s new lead singer. Arnel, now 45, was once a homeless teen who sang at funerals and memorials in hopes of getting a little bit of food. These days, Arnel is living the life of an international rock star, and he’s most certainly done an amazing job of filling Steve Perry’s shoes. But it hasn’t all been easy, a lot of pressure has come with joining an already established, legendary rock band, and Arnel has had to overcome many obstacles.

A new documentary, Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey, follows Arnel Pineda’s incredible journey with the band and takes us along for the fascinating ride.

Directed by Ramona S. Diaz, Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey also features band members, Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross Valory & Deen Castronovo. Catch the incredible movie trailer above and look for it in theaters March 2013.
