Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis Engaged!

It was announced over the weekend that Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis got engaged. The SNL star, who has been dating the actress now since December 2011, reportedly popped the question just after the holidays.

On Sunday, Wilde thanked her fans for all their congrats by tweeting, “Thanks for all the sweet congratulatory love, friends! And may I compliment your savvy use of that nifty engagement ring emoticon.”

A friend of pair told UsWeekly, “He [Sudeikis] finally found the one that made him want to commit,” adding, “They’ve both been through it before and this has just felt right from the get go. Everyone is happy for them.”

This will be the second marriage for both Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde. The 37-year-old funnyman was married to screenwriter Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010, while Wilde, 28, was married to filmmaker and musician Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011.

Hopefully things will run smoother in this relationship for Wilde, who has stated in the past that her last marriage “stunted” her growth and left her with the feeling that “her vagina died.”

This couple is random, but they seem to work. They do definitely seem to make each other happy, so good for them.
