The Top 10 Best Celebrity Mugshots Of The Past Thirteen Years

Celebrities usually know how to work a camera, and if you’re an A-list celeb, you sure get a lot of practice, what with all of the posing you get to do while attending red carpet events, promoting movies and television shows, etc. So it’s no surprise that some lucky stars take good mugshot pics, even though it’s usually during a time where they’re not at their best.

Here’s my list of the top 10 best celebrity mugshots in the last 13 years (1999-2012). Originally the list was going to be for ten years, but then I found one from 1999…and 13 is a lucky number so there. Anyways, check them out (in order from my least favorite to favorite):

10) Michelle Rodriguez – 2005 and 2007 – In 2005, the actress was arrested for driving under the influence, and in 2007, she was busted for violating her probation. She served 18 days in jail. Forgetting about the bloodshot drunky eyes, the first photo made me do a double take. At first I thought it was singer Norah Jones!

9) Josh Brolin – 2012 – Hunky actor Josh Brolin was arrested just before midnight on New Year’s Day, 2013 in Santa Monica, California for public intoxication. Lucky for him, the 44-year-old, who is married to actress Diane Lane, forked over $250 for bail and will not have to go to court because he wasn’t given a citation for the arrest. Police could have been nice and just driven him home, but he still got off easy with that one.

8) Carmen Electra – 1999 – Electra (real name: Tara Patrick) was arrested in Miami in November 1999 for battery against former husband NBA star Dennis Rodman, though the charges were later dropped. Blurry photo we have here, and the hair could use a brush, but overall nice pic.

7) Kiefer Sutherland – 2007 – Sutherland is no stranger to booze and unfortunately, no stranger to DUIs either. In September 2007, the actor was busted in Hollywood for driving under the influence and blew more than twice the legal limit of .08. Sure he’s a little glassy eyed but he looks pretty decent here.

6) Russell Brand – 2012 – The British comedian turned himself into the New Orleans police in March 2012 over an incident that involved him taking a paparazzo’s phone and throwing it through a window. The end result photo was the one above. Brand doesn’t look any different than normal (thanks to his sober living I guess – he’s not drunk), but it’s hard not to notice the basement background. Apparently, this is the norm for booking photos at the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office. Nicholas Cage had a very similar-looking pic taken when he was arrested in April 2011 for domestic abuse and disturbing the peace.

5) Nicole Richie – 2006 and 2007 – In 2006, then bad girl Nicole Richie, was arrested for a DUI after cops witnessed her driving the wrong way on the freeway (oops!). The following year, Richie took another booking photo when she served all of the 82 minutes in jail that she was ordered to (she was ordered to serve four days in jail but it was cut down). Both photos are nice considering they’re mugshots and in both, she’s striking a similar pose, no?

4) Chace Crawford – 2010 – In June 2010, actor Chace Crawford was arrested in Plano, Texas for possession of weed. His hair is a mess and is thirsty for some shampoo, but he still looks pretty hot.

3) Lindsay Lohan – 2010 – Lohan has had her fair share of trouble with the law, we all know that, but some of her booking shots are better than others. Out of all of them I found online, I’d have to say her 2010 shot was the best. In July of 2010, Ms. Lohan thought it’d be a better idea to go to Cannes, France rather than attend a court-mandated DUI progress hearing. Once she got back to the states however, the actress was arrested and made to serve 14 days out of the 90 she was sentenced for violating her probation.

2) Cat Cora – 2012 – The famous Food Network chef was arrested in June 2012, for driving under the influence in Santa Barbara, but lucky for her, her booking photo wasn’t taken until 11 days after the bust. Cora, who was slapped with a DUI after rear-ending another car, actually called the people she hit “nerds”. Hmm..maybe it was the alcohol talking because reportedly, her BAC was twice the legal limit. Oh well, at least she looks hot in her mugshot.

1) Rose McGowan – Okay, so yeah, this is cheating but I had to include Rose McGowan’s fake mugshots because they are so damn cute and she’s smoking hot in them. They were part of a shoot she did some years back with famed photographer Ellen Von Unwerth.
