Conrad Bain Dead at 89

The actor who played Phillip Drummond on the 1980s sitcom, Diff’rent Strokes, has died.

Canadian-born Conrad Bain died on Monday, at the age of 89 in Livermore, Ca. He would have been 90-years-old in just a couple of weeks.

Bain’s daughter spoke with TMZ and she remembered him fondly. “He was an amazing person. He was a lot like Mr. Drummond, but much more interesting in real life. He was an amazing father.”

Conrad is proceded in death by his wife Monica, who died in 2009. They were married 64 YEARS! He is survived by his identical twin brother, Bonar Bain, a Canadian actor.
