Anderson Cooper Reveals He Was Once A Ladykiller, But Didn’t Know It

Those eyes, that smile, the charm…who wouldn’t instantly love Anderson Cooper? Nobody that’s who!

The handsome journalist, who is openly gay and currently dating nightclub owner Ben Maisani, opened up about his past dating experiences during his talk show recently. According to him, he’s had some experience dating females too. Apparently, he was quite the ladykiller.

Says Anderson, 45, “I have had a little bit more experience in other areas other than with guys. I don’t have much experience, but the few times when I would go on a date with a girl — like when I was 12 — there was a lot of sharing, and a lot of talking, and a lot of asking how I am.”

The TV hottie himself says he wasn’t’ always aware that he was dating some of these girls. He says, “They thought we were dating and I was sort of hoping to meet their brothers!”

Adds the Anderson 360 host, “They’re my best friends still, but I find they share a lot. I have a friend — I send her one text and I get 20 texts back. Guys don’t want a million texts. It’s exhausting.”

If you recall, it just recently that Anderson Cooper came out to the public as a gay man, though his friends and family knew since he was in high school. On why he waited so long to let the public know, he says, “It’s just not something I talked about publicly, because as a reporter, I didn’t think it was appropriate. It didn’t seem like part of my job.”

He further explains, “I didn’t want to send a message that there was anything I was ashamed about or unhappy about or not comfortable with. That was the main thing for me. I am the same person I always was. I do the job just the same way.”

I just love him and honestly wish we were besties. He seems like such a down to earth, chill guy. He’s easy on the eyes too!
