Michelle Obama’s 2013 Inaugural Gown by Jason Wu

Everyone is buzzing about Michelle Obama’s 2013 Inaugural Gown. All eyes were on the stunning red gown, by Jason Wu, as she and President Barack Obama danced to Jennifer Hudson’s rendition of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” at the Inaugural  Ball on January 21, 2013.

The gown is one of a kind, made of custom ruby chiffon and velvet.

Michelle Obama also chose a Jason Wu gown (remember the white one?) for the President’s first Inauguration Ball back in 2009. Michelle Obama selected a pair of Jimmy Choos to accompany the fiery red gown. More than 15 designers submitted dresses for Michelle to chose from.
