Should Lindsay Lohan Do ‘Dancing With The Stars’?

Would it be a good career move for Lindsay Lohan to appear on Dancing With the Stars (DWTS)?

For starters, let’s consider her financial situation. She owes the IRS a pretty sizable chunk of cash, and besides bit parts, there’s nothing lucrative on the table for her right now.

The producers of Dancing With the Stars have offered Lohan $550,000 to be a part of an upcoming season of the show. I don’t think they have ever offered a star that amount of money. (Correct me if I’m wrong.) As far as I’ve heard, stars get $150,000 just for signing, plus their first week. Then every week they continue on DWTS they make more money, until the winner walks away with $350,000 (that was a couple of years ago, it may have increased some). So for Lindsay Lohan to be offered more than half a million, you know that ABC is really going out on a limb.

Lindsay says she isn’t interested in reality TV or Dancing With the Stars, no matter how much they offer. She only wants to be known as a film actress, despite her slim job pickings.

So what do you think? Would it be a good idea for Lindsay Lohan to do Dancing With the Stars? Would it help, or hinder, her pristine image as a Hollywood film actress (heh)?
