Top 10 Heartthrobs of the 80′s! There were so many, it was tough deciding who would make our Top 10, but here we go.

Being a child of the 1980s I had a bedroom covered with posters of 1980′s heartthrobs, rock and roll bands and fashion models. But my favorite, of course, were the heartthrobs. The 80s had their fair share of them and tweens of the 80s subscribed to all the magazines, especially Tiger Beat, for the latest information on the lives of our favorite crushes.

Talking a stroll down memory lane, we now present you with our Top 10 Heartthrobs of the 80s!

10. John Stamos: As Uncle Jesse on Full House, John Stamos was the guy with terrific hair and crystal blue eyes that won our hearts. He was hunky, confident and hey, he played the congos in The Beach Boys’ Kokomo video. 80s hot!

9. Keanu Reeves: The Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure star played a goofy airhead but was somewhat of a mysterious loner in real life. His soft voice, dark hair and deep eyes made teen hearts flutter throughout the country. Bonus points is you remember him as the goalie in Youngblood.

8. Michael Jackson: He was (and still is) the King of Pop and he hadn’t morphed into the plastic surgery nightmare that he later became. He had puppy dog eyes, a shy smile and a dreamy voice (when he sang). When he took Brooke Shields to the American Music Awards in 1984 fans were upset it wasn’t them. It’s probably a good thing there was no Twitter back then, that haters would have bombed her with insults purely out of jealousy.

7. Don Johnson: The star of Miami Vice was everywhere. His fashion style on the show set trends across America in the 1980s and Don made it cool for men to wear pastels, have a 5 o’clock shadow, and to leave the socks at home. Women LOVED it.

6. LL Cool J: The young rapper who made it big with his album, Radio, was a crush of many teens in the 1980s. His trademark look included leather pants and jackets, huge gold chains and of course, the Kangol.

5. Rick Springfield: Not only was Rick Springfield one of the hottest rock stars of his time, women also fawned over him on General Hospital. He was a pretty boy who had the looks, the smile and the charm. Didn’t you want to be Jesse’s Girl back in the day?

4. Johnny Depp: Forever on the Top 10 Hottest ANYTHING list, Johnny Depp rose to fame on Nightmare on Elm Street and 21 Jump Street. His sizzling good looks made him an instant heartthrob. It was that pout. No man could pout as well as Johnny could.

3. Rob Lowe: He was the first victim of a sex tape scandal but up until that point (it was actually disgraceful back in the 80s, can you believe it?) we adored him. He had a gaze that pierced hearts and a jawline chiseled to perfection. He was a member of the Brat Pack and got his big break in the movie, The Outsiders. He was sooo much hotter than Pony Boy.

2. Val Kilmer: Two words. Top Gun. Forget Tom Cruise, the Ice Man was sexy, cocky and had California good looks.

1. Matt Dillon: He was the ultimate bad boy, the one your parents never wanted you to bring home but you were determined to get the attention of. He played tough guys and bullies, was often shirtless, and nearly always got the girl. And those lips…
