Dina Lohan Says “I’m The Most Misunderstood Mom in America”

Dina Lohan will never win the Mother of the Year award, but if you ask her, she’s the “Most Misunderstood Mom in America.”

Riiiiiight.

Dina was out doing her biweekly interview with the cameras because she’s got a new book to push. Yep. Tabloid interviews are simply not enough.

In A Parent Trapped, Dina will talk about the abuse in her life that she allegedly suffered at the hands of Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s father.  She claims she is “writing” the book to “help save a life,” hoping to bring awareness to domestic violence. I’m sure it has nothing to do with fame and a little bit of cash for blow. No, that would be wrong of me to assume that, right?

When asked if Dina and Michael were “co-parents”. Dina replies, “I don’t really want to talk on-camera about that.

“BUT…I have been a single mom my whole life, I’ve had full custody and the three had no relationship with him. I’m always hopeful that things will get better and slowly but surely they are.”

She also says she looks forward to the day when Lindsay is a mother, and that she can’t wait to be a grandmother. Babies make it easier to smuggle cocaine, heh. I kid, I kid…but seriously, is she high?
