Katy Perry ‘Doesn’t Approve’ Of Rihanna & Chris Brown’s Relationship

Katy Perry Doesn't Approve Of Rihanna And Chris Brown Dating Again 2013

Rihanna and Chris Brown’s rekindled relationship may be “Nobody’s Business” and that news is just fine with RiRi’s bff Katy Perry, because she doesn’t want to hear about it. She reportedly doesn’t approve of it and it’s understandable why she feels that way.

It seems that there are so many ill feelings between the two friends, who once were very close, that they asked not to be seated next to each other this past Sunday’s Grammy Awards. This had event staffers going bonkers.

One source called the mess “such a headache!” The insider added, “They aren’t tight anymore because Katy doesn’t approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown.” Supposedly, Katy made the request.

Apparently this is nothing new for Rihanna, 24, and her ol’ buddy Katy, 28. Back in November, someone in the “Wide Awake” singer’s camp told Confidenti@l, “They’re barely talking and ever since the couple reunited, there has been tension between them. Katy has been spending a lot of time with pals Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Katy fears Rihanna is making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be part of it.”

Hollywood Life brings up a good point . . . the two ladies haven’t been seen together since September while attending the MTV Video Music Awards, where Rihanna publicly gave Brown a smooch – the first one we’d seen since the two broke up in 2009.

I don’t doubt this story at all. This is exactly what friends are for, we need to look out for one another! Watching a buddy who is in a relationship that’s not really in their best interest is one thing, but watching them get back together with someone who brutally beat them up before is another.

i dont think anyone with common sense will approve. i know what it’s like to lose a bff over a relationship, and it’s so not worth it

Love is blind as they say, but your friends aren’t. Most of the time your friends have no motive other than wanting the best for you, and watching them be with someone whom you’ve a) probably only had awful things to say about for a long time and b) someone who doesn’t treat you with the respect you deserve; is really painful. And its usually best to just take a step back and let them learn for themselves. I’ve been the girl in the bad relationship, and I’ve been the friend watching other friends be hurt. I’d do the same thing as Katy…
