Woman Bites Off Boyfriend’s Tongue on Valentine’s Day

A Chicago woman bit a man’s tongue off after a having an argument on Valentine’s Day.

The woman, Elaine Cook, 51, and her boyfriend had just returned from a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner when the two began fighting. Cook told her boyfriend to leave, so he gathered his things and started to go. He tried to smooth things over by saying they should just drop it and move on, but as he went to kiss her she bit off the right side of his tongue. With the tongue still in her mouth, she ran to the kitchen sink and spit it out. He picked it up (can you IMAGINE?), packed it on ice and sought medical treatment. Sadly his tongue was not able to be reattached, but he can still talk.

Elaine Cook was ordered to be held on $100,000 bond. She’s been charged with aggravated domestic battery.
