There are so many people on this planet, that you’re bound to have a twin…even if that means having an ‘animated’ twin, like from a cartoon or a Disney movie! Celebrities are people too I guess, so they have the same issue.
We’ve compiled a list of 10 Disney characters and matched them with their celebrity doppelgangers. If anything, these stars could portray them in a live action film. And please note, we realize the majority of the list is comprised of Disney Princesses, but that’s just because the princesses are the most recognized. We love the princes too!
In no particular order:

Ariel from The Little Mermaid – Amy Adams or Isla Fisher – Although I’m typically a villain lover, Ariel is probably my all-time favorite Disney princess. And this is a twofer! Amy Adams definitely resembles the beautiful red-haired mermaid and Isla Fisher and Adams resemble each other, so there you go. Both actresses could portray Ariel but Adams has an advantage…she’s also a singer, so she could belt out those bitchin’ songs with no problem at all.

Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid – Matt Bomer – That dark hair (though he’d have to color it darker for the role), those blue eyes and that handsome face…Matt Bomer has all these traits! The 35-year-old Magic Mike star is a dead ringer for the animated prince!

Snow White of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Katy Perry or Zooey Deschanel – Another twofer! Well here we go again with two celebrities that look like each other, especially when they’re both sporting bangs. Both Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel could portray the raven-haired Disney beauty and they both have their individual advantages. Perry obviously has a strong penchant for dressing up in fun and creative outfits, and obviously the girl can sing! As for Deschanel, well she’s got the acting part down for sure.

Belle from Beauty and the Beast – Ashley Judd – I’ve always thought that Ashley Judd was such a pretty lady, and at age 44, she still has that youthful look. As long as she’s keeps the plastic surgery to a minimum, she’ll grow old very gracefully. The actress could easily play Belle from Beauty and the Beast if there is ever a live action movie to be made!

Jasmine from Aladdin – Eva Longoria – Although Jasmine is supposed to be of Arabian heritage, I see a resemblance to actress Eva Longoria, who is Mexican-American. I could totally see Longoria wearing that outfit too, ha!

Rapunzel in Tangled – Taylor Swift – Well not only did pop tart Taylor Swift portray the golden-tressed computer animated beauty in the Tangled for Disney Parks ad campaign in the beginning of 2013, but just look at her. That photo of Rapunzel on the left…she’s almost making the infamous “surprised” look that the 23-year-old singer is known for. We could’ve put a pic of Swift posing like that of course, but that would be a little too much.

Eugene “Flynn Rider” Fitzherbert from Tangled – Adrian Brody – Adrian Brody has a very unique and different kind of hotness to him and I totally see Tangled’s Eugene Fitzherbert (aka Flynn Rider) in him. Don’t ya think?

Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians – Sharon Stone – Glenn Close portrayed Cruella De Vil in 1996’s 101 Dalmatians and she did it well, but in real life, Sharon Stone reminds me of the puppy-skinning villain, and since Stone loves wearing herself some real furs, this is a match made in hell.

Pocahontas from the Disney film named after her – Padma Lakshmi – Even though Disney’s Pocahontas was based off of a real person, a Native American woman named Pocahontas, me thinks Padma Lakshmi could portray her if need be. The model and Top Chef host is Indian American, but she has similar features to the cartoon character, no doubt.

Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog – Kelly Rowland – Princess Tiana is a total animated mini-me version of Kelly Rowland, just look at her! The eyes, the hair, she’s got the look!
So how’d we do? Did we miss anyone? Tell us in the comments! Oh, and just for fun, take this quiz to find out what evil Disney character you’d be!
