Lindsay Lohan Loses Legal Battle With Pitbull

It’s been a year and a half in the works but Lindsay Lohan’s effort to sue Pitbull over lyrics that are included in his song “Give Me Everything” has not ended in her favor. Actually the lawsuit has been dismissed, according to TMZ.

The troubled actress sued the rapper back in 2011 for using her name in his hit song along with the lyrics, “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

This ticked Lohan off and she set out to sue the actor claiming she never gave him permission to use her name and as a result, he shouldn’t have profited from it.

Well, a judge in New York didn’t agree with the actress and on Thursday they ruled that Pitbull is protected by the 1st amendment because the song is considered to be a work of art. The judge also pointed out that her name was such a small part of the ditty and said that Lohan’s claims that she suffered emotional distress were bogus.

Lohan’s legal track record just got worse if that’s at all possible.
