Bobby Brown Sentenced To 55 In Jail Over Most Recent DUI

Last October Bobby Brown got busted for his third, I repeat, third DUI and now he’s about to pay the consequences.

Brown, who was charged with driving under the influence as well as driving on a suspended license (as a result of his March 2012 DUI conviction), pled “no contest” to the charges Tuesday and was sentenced to 55 days in jail for it. According to TMZ, the 44-year-old was also sentenced to four years probation as well as ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol rehab program.

The singer is expected to turn himself in to jail by March 20 and until then, he’s supposed to attend AA meetings three times a week.

I surely hope this is the wakeup call he needs to get his life straightened out. He was lucky he hasn’t killed himself or more importantly an innocent bystander during one of his drunken drives. How is there not yet a law in effect that takes away the privilege to drive after so many DUIs??
