Morrissey Hates Beyonce Now

Wow, last week it was Duck Dynasty and Jimmy Kimmel, and now this week British singer Morrissey has a beef with Beyonce. But of course this just adds to the list of the things the indie rocker hates (that list includes Canada and roller coasters too apparently).

According to EW.com, during a concert at the L.A. Staples Center Friday night the 53-year-old musician let it be known that he’s not a fan of Miss Bey, saying that her use of animal flesh in her fashion line has caused the “extinction of the rhinos”. Immediately after his mini-rant, he went on to play The Smith’s song “Meat Is Murder”.

Morrissey, a die-hard vegan, is so strong in his beliefs that he even made sure that the venue did not sell meat products during his performance.

As whiny and dramatic as Morrissey can be, I’m going to have to be on his team on this one. First, he’s got strong conviction and passion and he’s true to his beliefs and second, with all of the technology today, why do we still need to resort to slaughtering animals in such an inhumane way just for the sake of fashion?
