Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch confirmed reports that his daughter is suffering from emphysema.

She is reportedly in the early stages of the disease.

He said that if Amy doesn’t stop using drugs that she may end up in a wheelchair within a month and may have to wear a permanent oxygen mask to survive. He added that if she doesn’t get clean she could die within months.

“To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her,” he said.

Mitch Winehouse wants Amy to stay away from Pete Doherty and has warned drug dealers to o the same.

“I’m saying to those drug dealers, and they know who they are, if they are supplying crack to Amy, then they’ve got to take responsibility. I don’t want her hanging out with her mates like Pete Doherty either . . The doctors have said that if she had continued the way she was going she could have ended up an invalid - she wouldn’t have been able to breathe.

“My family have been criticized for not doing enough for Amy. Some say we should put her in a room and throw away the key but that’s against the law. In our limited way, we are doing the best we can and we are being guided by the doctors and psychologists.

“There’s no need to cry yet. If, God forbid, doctors said they can’t help her, then that’s when we can have a good cry. But if she doesn’t go back to drugs then she can lead this magnificent life. With her husband Blake too, if he gets clean as well.”

“I’ve started to see my old Amy back. We’ll just have to see how great her resolution is.”

Amy Winehouse’s family is trying to keep her in the hospital as long as possible, hoping to wean the talented singer off drugs.

Sources say that she could be in the hospital for weeks - and is having withdrawals from crack cocaine and heroin, the dirtiest of drugs.

Amy, 24, was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat after collapsing in her home on Monday.

Dad Mitch, 57, said, “Amy is doing fine. She is staying in as long as possible.” Rumor has it that if Amy tries to check out of the hospital her family will have her admitted to a psychiatric ward.

A family source said, “She’ll be in there for a while if her family get their way. There is a feeling they can have a good crack at sorting her out this time.”

No pun intended, I’m sure.

Amy reportedly has been coughing up blood and was thought to have had Tuberculosis, although tests came back negative. Instead, she has a raging chest infection.

At this point Amy has no plans of pulling out of Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert on June 27th and the Glastonbury festival in the UK.

Junkie Amy Winehouse has received the cold, hard truth from doctors at a private London hospital who have warned her to quit her drug habit or face an untimely death.

Amy, who has been at the hospital since Monday, had tests ran after collapsing at her home in Camden. According to reports, doctors ran the tests to see what was ailing her. They came back “inconclusive,” which I don’t believe unless these doctors are complete morons.

Anyhow, the drugs have taken quite a toll on the 24-year-old and apparently doctors have sternly warned her that if she doesn’t get clean soon she will absolutely die young.

A source told The Sun, “She might have escaped this time, but eventually she won’t get up again. The only thing to stop that happening is if she quits drugs.”

I truly hope she cleans herself up but really I think she may be too far gone to turn back. Not that it couldn’t be done, I just don’t think she honestly realizes that she is dying. I mean, doesn’t she look in the mirror sometimes and go, “What the f*ck am I doing to myself?!”

If I was her parent I would be doing anything in my power to get, and keep, her in rehab. Hell, if I had to stay with her and go through it with her I would. If somebody doesn’t step up and really support this kid she’s going to become just another Rock n’ Roll casualty . .

Amy Winehouse better hold on to her money, because really folks, how much longer will people pay to see the junkie trainwreck perform half-assed shows?

In the meantime, Amy is still a hot commodity.

Russian billionaire, Roman Abramavich, offered Crackhouse a whopping $2 million to perform at the opening of his girlfriend’s art gallery in Moscow on Thursday.

Winehouse, who can use the cash, has been spending tons of dough on paying inmates to look after her Blake-Incarcerated. And of course, smack.

Amy flew from London to Moscow and when they landed Amy was a mess. Winehouse’s performance was scheduled for 10:30pm but was two hours late as people behind the scenes tried to sober her up enough to sing for the crowd.

When she emerged she walked down a red carpet lined with red lights. The NY Post described the runway as “guiding her like a damaged aircraft down a runway.” Heh.

As she performed she chain smoked, at one point hurling her lighter into the crowd, she was unsteady on her feet and her short dress revealed to some unlucky guests that she wasn’t wearing panties.

A source said, “I heard that her singing was a little sloppy But she still put on a terrific show.”

More like a freak show.

Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized after fainting today.

A spokesperson said, “Amy was at home this afternoon when she briefly fainted. Fortunately, her manager’s assistant was there to stop her falling. She quickly recovered and her father Mitch took her to hospital as a precaution. Doctors are unsure of the cause of the incident and Amy is currently undergoing tests.”

Doctors are unsure? My ass! Maybe because it’s from shooting up, snorting, swallowing, smoking and drinking everything in sight for the past few years! GAH!

In the video, [see it HERE] Amy is heard singing to the tune of the children’s song, “Head, shoulders, knees and toes.” Instead, Amy has made up her own words. She sings, “Blacks, Pakis, Gooks and Nips, Gooks and Nips . . and deaf and dumb and blind and gay,” as Blake rolls the video.

At one point foil and heroin are seen in the footage as Blake messes with the camera.

In another shot, Blake films Amy as she sleeps. He says, “This is how you sleep when you haven’t slept for two days.”

Along with the crazy video footage are numerous photos. Photos of Amy’s boobs, her and her homemade crackpipe, Blake and Amy with pills on their tongues, and many other glamorous shots. One photo reportedly is of Amy jerking Blake off with one hand while she chats on the phone on the other! See? Junkies have the best sex lives!

Amy Winehouse continues aging before our very eyes.

Her skin isn’t clearing up, it’s still getting worse. Not only is it broke out in disgusting sores, it’s aging like mad!

Is that the Virgin Mary I see in Amy’s skin? Or is it the state of Illinois? Damn, is bitch shooting up in her face, or what?

Before long, Amy is going to look like she is 50 years old - more than twice her age. Just give it a year or two. If she actually makes it that long.

Amy Winehouse’s skin condition seems to be getting worse and as you can see in this pic, it’s not pretty!

Nothing much has changed with Amy in recent days.  She doesn’t seem to be embarrassed by her skin.  She is still out until 4am every night getting loaded.  I wouldn’t leave the damn house!

Amy still can’t seem to manage to make her appointments to see Blake Incarcerated.  In fact, she arrived late again this weekend and missed another meeting with her rotten-mouth husband.  Then she cried in the cab on the way home and lashed out at paparazzi once she got there.

Her downward spiral continues as she gets more and more sickly.  How long will her skeletal malnourished frame be able to put up with the abuse?
