Alla Kournikova Arrested [MUGSHOT]

Alla Kournikova, Anna Kournikova’s mother, was arrested Tuesday on charges of child neglect.

Kournikova reportedly left her 5 year-old son, Allen, alone for nearly an hour while out doing errands. (Allen in Anna Kournikova’s half brother.) She claims she left him home because he did not want to go with her. So, she says, she left him to watch television on the couch, in a locked house with a cell phone in case he needed to call her.

But unfortunately for her things did not go so smoothly.

At some point the little guy decide to crawl out of a second story window and jump. He ended up being OK for the most part, (thank gawd, can you imagine?!) landing on his feet and scuffing them and bruising his lower back. So, since his feet hurt, he then decide to take a dip in the family pool – which also COULD have been disastrous, but thankfully was not.

So many things that could have ended in tragedy.

A neighbor called police when they saw Allen pacing in front of the house, wet and crying.

Kournikova was arrested as she came home, and was later released from jail on $3,000 bond. Alla is an “aspiring Palm Beach socialite” according to People Magazine.

This woman is SO LUCKY that this story did not end with the death of that child. I certainly don’t think she intentionally set out to harm him or anything, but you have to remember that a 5 year-old, or any small child for that matter, is not capable of making wise decisions on their own. Let this be a lesson to those of you who do this on occasion. Not a good idea! Besides, when does the kid call the shots? Back in my day it was, “Oh, you don’t WANT to go? Tough sh*t, get in the car!”

Anna Kournikova was involved in a bar scuffle last weekend in Las Vegas after a woman in a club threw a drink at her.

Now mind you, the way that the New York Post tells the story, you’d think it came out of the blue. There are obviously a lot of missing details about Kournikova’s involvement with the woman pre-drink tossing.

What we do know is that Anna was somehow invading the woman’s space, or so she thought, and at some point felt justified in slinging her cocktail at the tennis star. After she did Anna came flying at her, screaming and pushing.

After everyone broke it up and the hair extensions settled, Anna was left with claw marks on her neck and the drink tosser was booted from the club. Which I’m sure she expected, because stars never get kicked out of clubs. Like, ever. Unless you’re 2007 Andy Dick, that is.

Anna Kournikova Smacks Partner in the Back

Anna Kournikova was playing in a charity fund raising tennis match in Delray Beach on Sunday. She stepped in for Chris Evert halfway through the first set and managed to hit her partner smack in the back with her serve.

Her partner? None other than the former President George Bush. However, Grandaddy Bush said he was not hurt.
