Ashlee Simpson Wentz on The Today Show, 9/3/09

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was on the Today Show this morning and she looked fabulous!

I really love her hair red, but I kind of miss the kid-like Ashlee. You know, the one with the crooked nose and tomboyish clothes. She seems so uppity these days! It’s like she got a whole new personality after her surgeries..

Anyhow, Ashlee talked about being a mommy to little Bronx Mowgli and of her new role on the hit television series, Melrose Place.

Anyone care to count how many times she says, “Yeeeaaaaaaah…”?
I counted 14, but I might have missed a couple.

A very slender looking Ashlee Simpson is guided into the Bardot lounge by a galpal.

She went in looking demure and came out looking a bit tattered! Ashlee’s friend helped her out as she clambered into their car, making sure she kept Ashlee’s skirt under control so she didn’t suffer an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

Ashlee Simpson Wentz is seen carrying baby Bronx Mogli at the “Time for Heroes” charity event hosted on the Veteran’s Hospital grounds in Brentwood.

The event, which included a celebrity picnic and live performance by Miley Cyrus, was to raise funds for an Aids charity dedicated to children suffering with the disease. The event was sponsored by Disney and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatrics Foundation.

As his wife sits home Tweeting about how much she misses her husband, Pete Wentz is on the road and whooping it up along the way.

After Fall Out Boy’s Vegas concert last weekend (April 5) someone snapped these photos of Pete dancing and partying on a pool table with some strippers. The group of people included members of the band, roadies, backup dancers, strippers and even former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison.

The group danced, sang and played on makeshift Slip n- Slide that was made of a plastic mat and lubricant. Sticky!

This has to be hard on Ashlee, even if Pete is a good, honest, monogamous hubby! No one wants to see your man dancing with strippers when you’re not there! Especially in Vegas!

But what is he supposed to do? He’s a rockstar, and that’s what goes on after shows. Have fun changing those dirty diapers, Ash!

Proud mommy Ashlee Simpson posted a pic of her baby boy, Bronx, via TwitPic last night on Twitter.

She posted, “i present you my little man and his adorable cheeks!”

Ashlee chatted up a storm last night, tweeting to Nicole Richie about getting the babies together, inviting Solange Knowles over for dinner and telling her husband that she and Bronx are only the Two Amigos without him.

New parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz might already be hitting a rough patch in their short marriage.

I said “might” because I am not too sure about this one.

Page Six is reporting that the couple is struggling with their relationship, Ashlee in particular. A source told the publication, “Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working.”

Hmm… these two have plenty of cash for nannies. I highly doubt Ashlee is “stuck” at home. And anyway, the two of them are loving Australia right now – without baby Mowgli.

Simpson’s publicist denies the claims saying, “This is not true. Everything is fine in their world.”
