Ashlee Simpson (like a lot of celebrities lately) is lashing out at gossip bloggers for saying her sister has gained weight.

She rants,

I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.
All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard.
Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend?
I seriously doubt it.
How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?
Now can we focus on the things that really matter.

Well, Ashlee, this is nothing new in the business, but I’m not saying that it’s right. What I am saying is that you, your sister and your daddy all know how the industry works. And if you gain a little weight, you’re going to hear about it. Welcome to Hollywood.

Tell me Ashlee, how is it that we can expect teenaged girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where so many young women feel it’s necessary to get plastic surgery on their face at a young age? Oh yeah, it goes back to what I said before.

In recent interviews Pete Wentz has been talking about banging his wife, their sex life and now he is describing Ashlee’s breast milk.

The emo Fall Out Boy chatted on Sirius’ ‘The Morning Mash Up’ this morning (it was recorded on Monday) and he giddily spoke about tasting Ashlee’s breast milk.

He described it as “soury” and “weird.”

He adds that their newborn baby Bronx Mowgli likes it. “The baby loves it, it’s the only thing he’s had a chance to have.”

Even though new parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have a newborn to coddle these days, it doesn’t mean they will be staying in for the New Year celebrations.

Ashlee Simpson is reportedly at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., and has been all day.

Sister Jessica Simpson, husband Pete Wentz and her father, Joe, are all said to be at her side.

No announcements on the birth have been made as yet, but expect them soon!  [Splash]

It’s been confirmed! Ashlee had a boy!

Bronx Mowgli Wentz (what a mouthful!) weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.

The couple’s rep told People magazine, “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!”

Since Halloween, everyone has been waiting to hear that Ashlee Simpson has gone into labor.

But regardless of the internet rumors last weekend, it just hasn’t happened.

On Monday, sister Jessica told Ellen Degeneres that Ashlee might just induce labor. “They’re going to have to. It’s already developing really quick,” she said.

She says Ashlee is trying various methods to help the process along. “Different foot massages and stuff. I don’t know. I think she’s really just jumping around trying everything right now.”

Two weeks ago husband Pete Wentz said that his wife was due at “any moment” and was very eager to give birth.

Pete Wentz quashed rumors that he and wife Ashlee Simpson are expecting twins at yesterday’s MTV VMAs.

At the awards show he told Us magazine,

“It’s going to be a big disappointment when it’s only one!”

Wentz mistakenly referred the unborn child as “them” during a radio interview a few months back.  He later stated that he had fudged up the facts.

“[I was] waaaaay wrong.  I totally misspoke ’cause we dunno if it’s a boy or girl. I try to speak vaguely, and I totally blew it on this one.”

Ashlee is due at the end of October.

After indulging a Chinese food craving earlier in the week, mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz reportedly head to a doctor’s appointment in Beverly Hills Thursday.

Ashlee Simpson is gaining all her weight in her waist and tits. If only every woman were this lucky.

You guessed it. Halloween!

The couple apparently conceived just before Valentine’s Day while on vacation. The initial due date their doctor gave them was October 31. If that becomes the child’s actual birth date remains to be seen, but I bet they’ll do about anything to make sure it happens!

Does anyone else think their baby is going to look like Christian Siriano? Heh.
