That’s what the California Highway Patrol is recommending.

They have referred the case to the city attorney’s office for review.

Brandy was involved in a freeway crash last month in which she was at fault. Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, a Los Angeles mother of one, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and died the next day.

“The office is currently reviewing the case and determining whether the evidence warrants the filing of a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter,” Nick Velasquez, city attorney spokesman said.

TMZ is reporting that singer Brandy was involved in a fatal automobile accident last month. Eaarly reports are saying she was at fault.

The accident occurred while she was driving her ‘07 Land Rover on December 30th on the 405 freeway in LA. She was cruising along at 65mph, not noticing the slowing traffic ahead of her.

Brandy plowed into the back of a 2005 Toyota which in turn hit another Toyota. The 2005 Toyota flew sideways then hit a jersey barrier. That same car was then hit by a 1988 Acura.

The driver of the 2005 Toyota died a short time after the accident.

Reports say that Brandy was not injured and drugs & alcohol have not seemed to have been a factor.
