Cameron Diaz Moves Back Home

Friday, January 19th, 2007

“Hellooo Mom and Dad, I’m home!”

After the failed four year long relationship with Justin Timberlake, Cameron is going where she knows she is loved.

Back home to family.

She’s moved everything from her and Justin’s apartment into her parent’s home.

A total obvious sign that she is not doing as well as everyone is saying.

Are Justin & Cameron OVER?

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007

Thanks to STAR Magazine for passing this on to Celebrity Smack:

“Star’s cover story this week is on Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz spending the Christmas holiday apart–and reported comments from JT himself saying that “We’re done.”
Could the Sexy Back crooner and “The Holiday” star be dunzo?

This Christmas season, Justin Timberlake spent his holiday at home in Tennessee, surrounded by his close-knit family, including mom (and one-time manager) Lynn, stepfather Paul Harless and his two younger half-brothers.
Cameron Diaz, his girlfriend since 2003, went skiing in Vail, Colo., staying at the Vail Mountain Resort & Spa, with her family.

Separate vacations? At this time of year? What’s the reason?

Sources say the glamorous duo, who have gone on many vacations together in the past, went their separate ways after Justin decided that his days with Cam were numbered. And on Dec. 23, as he partied with friends in Senses nightclub in Memphis, a source says Justin told fellow revelers: “Me and Cameron? We’re done.”

During their three-and-a-half years together, the two, who met backstage at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 2003 overcame a nine-year-age difference (he’s 25; she’s 34) and the tug of their separate schedules. They were one of Hollywood’s most affectionate and committed couples. So what could have gone wrong? The answer, according to insiders, is that over the years, the couple struggled from time to time with the issue of long-term commitment. Cameron has been a notorious free spirit–she once told Ellen DeGeneres on her show, “I’m a commitment-phobe. I love being alone…I don’t want to get married.”

Justin jetted to his hometown, Millington, Tenn., (19 miles from Memphis) on Dec. 22 to spend Christmas with his family. He’s always been close to his mom Lynn, he even took her to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002, the Grammy Awards in 2004 and a number of other red-carpet events.
Once in Tennessee, he immediately called longtime friend Veronica Finn, a 25-year-old blond real-estate broker who used to sing in Innosense, a now-defunct girl group that Justin’s mom managed. They once dated pre-Britney; in fact, Britney was even a member of Innosense for a short time.
Justin and Veronica have remained close friends over the years, getting together and speaking regularly on the phone. “Justin asked her to come over (to his folks place), and she did,” says a source.

On Dec. 23, Justin and Veronica joined Justin’s mom and step dad for a fun evening of indoor golf, followed by Chinese food at P.F. Chang’s restaurant in Memphis. Veronica is now just like a sister to Justin. “I saw him give her a warm kiss on the cheek and squeeze her hand repeatedly,” an eyewitness tells Star. “He left with his arm around her shoulders.”

Later that night, sources say, the pair went to Senses nightclub, where they met up with friends. “The group stayed in a private room at the club and had a great times.” And it was there, as Justin partied at Senses, a source recalls, that he went public about his split with Cameron.
“Around 2 a.m. he was with a dozen friends in the VIP room when he was asked where Cameron was,” a source says. “Justin said, ‘We’re done. It’s over!’ He didn’t seem at all unhappy.”

Later, post-clubbing, Veronica stayed over night at Justin’s mom’s place and didn’t go back to here own relatives’ home until Christmas day, the source says. And on Christmas night, “he picked her up again, and she stayed overnight one more time at Justin’s mom’s house.”
When asked about Justin’s statement, reps for the pair declined to comment, stating they do not comment on their personal lives.

Just a week before the couple went their separate ways for Christmas, Justin was partying in NYC hotspot Barca 18 with Cameron. At the time, the New York Daily News reported, “The couple was affectionate and stayed until 4 a.m.”

But Cameron, whose previous beaus include Matt Dillion (with whom she had a three-year relationship) and Jared Leto (whom she dated for four years) told a report a few weeks before, “We’ve all been in relationships that failed. It’s about figuring out how to make something work and about who you are, what you have to offer and how you’ll be open to love.”

However, as of press time, the actual status of the current Justin-Cameron relationship remains unknown! On Dec. 27, a source tells Star, Justin flew out of Memphis International Airport. His destination: Los Angeles where Cameron was headed as well. Stay tuned! “

Cameron Diaz & Drew Barrymore Shop

Tuesday, December 26th, 2006

Two of the three Charlie’s Angels doing a little Christmas shopping.

Cameron was recently interviewed by DesertNews.com about Christmas, driving in England, and her new movie, ‘The Holiday’.

Question: Going anywhere for the holidays this year?
Answer: I’ll be here (Los Angeles) when everybody else goes away, which is awesome. It’s my favorite time of the year. It’s glorious, I love being alone. I just love being by myself. I’m good at it. But not in a weird way. It’s not like, “Leave me alone!” I’m just very comfortable by myself.

Question: Guess the idea of house-swapping isn’t very appealing, huh?
Answer: Nope. Nope. No. No. Don’t want anybody in my house. Well, friends of course, but not a total stranger. But I’ve stayed in total strangers’ homes, and I’m very respectful about leaving them exactly the way I found them. But I’m not taking that chance.

Question: Your “Holiday” co-star Kate Winslet has been nominated for four Academy Awards. You’re best-known for frothy comedies such as “There’s Something About Mary” and “Charlie’s Angels.” Does that ever make you feel, oh, I don’t know, undervalued?
Answer: I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I’m happy with the things that I’ve accomplished. I’m not ashamed for being a happy, bubbly, funny person. I think that’s just as valid as being the dark, brooding, tortured, Oscar-nominated one. Not that I think that’s what Kate is at all, but certainly, if you want to start putting people in boxes, I don’t think that I’m undervalued. I’m really just honored to be in the position that I am in. I’m not going out there going, “I need more.”

Question: You don’t need more. You’re one of Hollywood’s highest-paid, most sought-after stars. Where do you want to go from here?
Answer: I’m terrible at making plans; I’ve no idea what I want. I remember when I started doing this, my first film, “The Mask.” Everybody kept asking me, “Ten years from now, what kind of work do you see yourself doing?” I was like, “I don’t know.” I didn’t know if I’d still be making movies or doing something completely different, but I just knew that I wanted to be happy, period. Whatever it is, making movies or milking a cow. I’m kind of on a milking-a-cow trip right now. I don’t know why.

Question: So it’s been more than 10 years — are you happy?
Answer: I am very happy. I can’t complain, although I do (laughs). But overall, I’m very happy with everything.

Question: And you haven’t exactly been killing yourself lately, making about one movie a year and a “Shrek” cartoon or two.
Answer: I’m sure there’s a lot of great roles out there. I’m just really bad at commitment; I hate committing myself to anything. So … I’m really bad at saying, “Yeah, I’m gonna be there in three months.” It’s gotta be something that I’m really sure I’m going to be happy doing if I get there. I don’t know where that comes from. It’s probably a lack of discipline, honestly. It’s probably being a spoiled brat and getting my way every time. It’s the way it is. I just, you know … I don’t wanna do it (laughs). I’m sure I’ll suffer for it later, but I’m happy right now.

Question: You’re in a long-term relationship, too, which surely helps. But “The Holiday” is about two heartbroken women. Could you relate?
Answer: I think that we’ve all been through these relationships before. That’s just life. It’s the journey of love, and this lifetime is to try to figure out how to make love work. And who doesn’t have problems? The great thing about love is that it’s imperfect, and people spend a lot of time on it. What would we do if relationships were perfect? What would we do with our time?

Question: Advice for the lovelorn?
Answer: I think you just get through it. Having your heart broken is never fun. But you’ve got to get over it at some point, right? It just gets back to knowing yourself, being connected to yourself and happy with yourself. It always has to start there first. It’s really awesome growing up in a very narcissistic society! (laughs) Because we’ve finally figured out that it’s all about us. All the time they’re like, “It’s not about you.” But really, it is. I encourage you to figure it out within yourself.

Question: Are marriage and kids in the cards for you?
Answer: I think everybody wants, at some point, to have that responsibility and be involved in that. But not at the moment; it’s too much. Yeah, it’s that commitment thing. I don’t even want a dog. My cat just died; I don’t even want a cat! Oh, I just opened a frickin’ can of worms.

Question: So, um, sort of afraid to ask now, but how did you get along with the two little girls in “The Holiday”?
Answer: Smacked ‘em around. It always works. I’m just kidding. Why do I think that’s so funny? I don’t know. It’s clearly not a thing you should joke about in print: “She doesn’t want kids, she smacks around the ones she works with, and she doesn’t even want a dog.” No, those girls were so sweet. It was a lot of fun.

Question: One last thing: How did you like driving in England?
Answer: The great thing about that was that the streets were shut down. Locked off. Nobody could get on the streets that didn’t know that I was behind the wheel. But it’s crazy, driving on the wrong side of the road. I can barely walk properly in England. Every time you step off of the curb, a sign says Look Right. But you always only see that after you’ve looked left first.

Cameron Diaz on TRL

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

The hair not looking as bad.

I love black hair but not on Cameron.
Her eye color, eyebrows,
skin tone, just don’t work with the jet black hair. It makes her look older as well.
Any color
would look better!

Cameron Diaz Claiming ‘X17′ Photgrapher Tried to Hit Her With His Car

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

Cameron Diaz has filed a police report alleging that an X17 photographer tried to hit her and Justin Timberlake with his car Tuesday in Hollywood.

From People Magazine:

“On Sept. 19, just after midnight, Cameron Diaz filed a report with the LAPD,” says police officer April Harding. “Diaz and Justin Timberlake were leaving a friend’s home when a photographer hiding in the bushes tried to take a photograph of her. “They both then chased the photographer for a short distance. The photographer then got into his car and drove toward both [of] them, causing Diaz to jump out of the car’s way. She felt the driver was trying to hit both of them, and so she filed the report. She’s alleging assault with a deadly weapon, with a vehicle.” The paparazzo, who works with photo agency X17, tells a different story and is “currently in the process of filing a complaint against Ms. Diaz and Mr. Timberlake.” The agency’s official website claims that the photos were taken on a public street and that the photographer was trying to leave when Diaz blocked the car. “Want the truth?” reads a posting on X17online.com. “Justin and Cameron were telling our photographers to leave (you can hear our photographer in the video, saying that he’s leaving) and then as one of our guys was trying to leave the street, Cameron stood in front of the car, blocking him, saying that she wanted him to stay until the cops came. “Our photographer wasn’t even sure she had actually called the cops and he felt threatened by her actions and those of Justin and the other members of their group (after Justin had already tried to grab his camera), so he drove around Cameron to escape her attempt at entrapment. “You don’t tell someone to leave and then stand in the middle of the road, girlfriend!” The LAPD is investigating the incident. Diaz and Timberlake had a previous altercation with photographers in November 2004. Paparazzi Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez sued the superstar couple for assault and battery, claiming that Diaz had hit and tripped Lazo and then stole his camera while he was trying to take pictures of them outside of the Chateau Marmont. The suit was settled in June 2005.”
