Mike Tyson was arrested after punching a photographer at LAX on Wednesday.

The paparazzo was allegedly quite aggressive and was all up in Tyson’s face (like a moron) before getting punched. We hear he may even have egged Tyson on by hitting or pushing him.

The incident took place at a United Airlines ticket counter while Tyson was with his wife and 10-month old baby. Tyson claims he was protecting his child from the cameraman, and after losing a child back in May, I don’t think you can really blame him.

Tyson took one swing at the paparazzo and apparently it was effective. The cameraman dropped to the ground after the former heavyweight champ nailed him, and his forehead bled profusely from a cut. But hey, everyone knows that head wounds bleed like a bitch. Buck up, a**hole.

The cameraman was also arrested and both parties were booked on misdemeanor battery charges. Witnesses at the scene back up both stories.

I don’t know about you, but I think Mike had to have been provoked. And if that is the case, that cameraman had it coming! Some of those bastards are so slimy that they will pull a stunt like this just to get a shot, or a story, out of it.

Well have to wait and see how this one pans out, but I am definitely on Team Mike.

Samantha Geimer, the woman who Roman Polanski raped when she was only 13-years-old, wants all charges against him to be dropped.

Geimer basically wants the entire thing to go away. She is now a mother of three children, a wife and a daughter and she says the attention that the media has brought her has done nothing but put a major strain on her family.

But does he deserve to be freed because she says so? Remember what he did really was disgusting..

In 1977, Polanski lured the 13-year-old aspiring model Geimer into Nicholson’s home for a photo shoot, where he gave her champagne and prescription drugs. Despite her requests to be taken home, Polanski then took nude photos of her in a hot tub and had sex with her. He later pleaded guilty to having sex with a minor.

Geimer says since Polanski’s arrest she has been bombarded by the media, having received more than 500 calls. She’s been offered spots on Larry King Live and even Oprah. But she isn’t interested. She wants to move on with her life, and understandably so. As a victim, how long can you act like one? She’s moved on long ago and the media should respect her wishes and leave her be.

In 1997 Geimer told People magazine: “[He] did something really gross to me, but it was the media that ruined my life.” It seems that is still the case, all these years later.

Geimer has asked a Los Angeles judge to dismiss the charges against Polanski, not only citing the disruption of her personal life, but her career as well. Her filing reads: “The pursuit has caused her to have health-related issues . . . caused her performance at her job to be interfered with and has caused the understandable displeasure of her employer and the real possibility that Samantha could lose her job.”

Although I truly feel for this woman, I am just not sure that he deserves to get off so easy. This guy preyed on young woman all the time back then. After this particular incident where he was busted, he fled like a little coward and continued to live like one the next 30+ years. If that doesn’t scream “guilty” I’m not sure what does.

Do you think Roman should get off and it should be swept under the rug for the sake of the victim, or do you think Roman still needs to face up to the crime he committed all those years ago?

Lil Wayne will serve time in jail

Rapper Lil Wayne, a.k.a. Weezy, will serve a year in jail after pleading guilty to attempted weapons possession.

The charges stem from a 2007 incident when officers in New York City raided his tour bus and found a loaded .40-caliber pistol on board. He was originally arrested on one count of criminal weapons possession and one count of criminal possession of a loaded weapon, which carries a much harsher penalty.

The judge is allowing Lil Wayne to remain free on his $30,000 bond but asked that he surrender his passport in the meantime. Sentencing is in February, and that’s when Lil Wayne will most likely start serving his term. He is expected to serve 8 of the 12 months.

Lindsay Lohan’s probation has been extended by one year, giving her more time to finish her alcohol education classes.

Lohan was ordered to attend the classes due a 2007 DUI, but as of late, hadn’t been attending. TMZ claims that awhile back Lindsay was granted a leave of absence so she could work out of state. When she returned home she never re-enrolled. Not sure how long ago that was, but someone please tell me why she should get another year to complete the classes?

It was her responsibility to have them done in a certain amount of time and apparently she’s only completed half of them. Bitch hasn’t been working, so why doesn’t she have the time? Whatever. At least because of it her probation has been extended another year. Another year she needs to keep her nose clean. Literally.

Soulja Boy was arrested last night in McDonough, Georgia after running from the police.

Why was he running from police? I’m not too sure, but I bet there was reason for it.

It all started around 9 P.M. when an officer responded to a call about people hanging out at a house that might possibly be abandoned. That group of people was Soulja Boy and a crew of people who were there shooting a video. Once the officer arrived, about half of the people took off running. (Reminds me of old high school keggers!) Soulja Boy included.

After a few minutes, Soulja returned and was prompty arrested and charged with obstruction, which is a misdemeanor.

Running from the police has got to be one of the single most moronic things to do in life. I figure if Soulja was running, he was most definitely hiding something. You don’t run when you have nothing to hide…

Three decades after fleeing the United States for having sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl, Roman Polanski has been arrested in Switzerland.

Although he had been to Switzerland before and not been arrested, this time Swiss authorities weren’t so accommodating. Polanski was in the country to receive a lifetime achievement award at the Zurich Film Festival. Once he arrived at the airport he was taken into custody. “There was a valid arrest request and we knew when he was coming. That’s why he was taken into custody,” says ministry representative Guido Balmer.

He has lived in France since the incident and has sought to have the case against him dropped. He faces possible extradition to the United States, although the U.S. has not yet made a formal extradition request.

Polanski is married with two children.

It seems to me that Roman thinks it should just be swept under the rug and that enough time has passed to where it should just be forgotten. But this guy was slimy. Extremely so. In Janice Dickinson’s book, “Check Please!” she describes herself as being a young, undiscovered model looking for her lucky break when Roman Polanski invites her out to dinner.

She accepts and is excited. But throughout their meal Roman ignores her, saying nothing until finally uttering “So, are we going to f** or what?” Janice did not sleep with him.

Roman pretty much admitted guilt by fleeing the country, but yet he is still adored and honored? People just look the other way when it comes to celebrities with clout. It’s scary really. This should have happened a long time ago..

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi are fighting back against charges that they stiffed a hotel for more than $5,000.

The couple, who were arrested in Texas yesterday after an arrest warrant had been filed, are fighting mad that they are being accussed of “burglary” among other things.

The couple penned this letter, meant specifically for TMZ, explaining their situation. Also, note the attached cashier’s check below. It’s a copy of the Quaid’s supposed payment for the room. The letter reads:

“Randy Quaid & Evi

We are making the following statement: Although we were married at the San Isidro Ranch and are about to have our 20th anniversary from that happy, lovely event, paying $20K for our bond seems fitting. I promise the state of California, Texas does not bother people over hamburgers ordered by room service, supposedly burglarized. I promise you, we have paid our bill – here is a copy of the cashier’s check – and this is all for PR. The name of our judge was Cinderella, and we plan to have a yearly reuinion with all involved. Marfa, Texas is a great place to be arrested. I would like to thank Sheriff…”

…blah, blah, blah. What a bizarre letter! The Cinderella bit really threw me through a loop. Anyway, regarding the hamburgers, it sounds like maybe it was just the room service burgers that weren’t paid for..? I’m really not sure what point the Quaids were trying to make with that one.

The Associated Press is claiming their hotel bill was $10,000, so maybe they paid – just not in full. It’s hard to speculate at this point because all the details aren’t out there yet. Anything is possible. Will keep you updated.

Randy Quaid and wife, Evi

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have been arrested in Marfa, Texas after stiffing a hotel for thousands of dollars.

An arrest warrant was issued earlier today for the actor and his wife after they failed to pay their bill at San Ysidro Ranch near Santa Barbara. Police believe that when they rented the room they had the intention of not paying, hence the burglary charge against them.

They say this isn’t the first time the slick couple have ripped off a hotel. Police also have evidence that they did the same thing to the Bel Air in Los Angeles.

Authorities caught the Quaids in Marfa, Texas, where they were arrested – but not without a fight.

Evi Quaid was extremely distraught and had to be taken to the ground by police as she screamed hysterically. Randy resisted arrest and both physically and verbally assaulted officers. Lucky for him they are not pressing charges. This is Texas, you know.

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s department is in contact with the Presidio County Sheriff (TX) and they want Quaid extradited to California.

Kanye, you’re off the hook. We have a new jerk of the week and his name is Randy Quaid. Who does he think he is? So he was in the old National Lampoon Vacation flicks, and yes, he was great in them, but this is completely unexcusable. And then to pitch a fit like a little bitch after being caught? Ridiculous. Throw the book at him!

Chris Brown sentenced to probation

Chris Brown has been sentenced in a court of law today for the brutal beating of his girlfriend, Rihanna, back in February.

Brown has been sentenced to five years probation and during this time he must obey all laws. He is subject to search and seizure at anytime while on probation. He must surrender any guns or weapons he owns immediately. He must also submit his DNA.

For the next 5 years he must appear in court every 3 months. His first court appearance is November 19th. During this time he will also have to stay in constant contact with a Richmond, VA domestic violence program, Commonwealth Catholic Charities, which he will be enrolled in for 1 year.

He will be required to perform 180 days of community service, and not easy stuff either. The judge made it clear that she wants him to do hard labor during this time. He will be doing his community labor in Virginia. (I’m sure the paparazzi are already planning their trips!)

A protective order has also been issued by the judge, barring Brown from harassing or threatening Rihanna.

As for monetary penalties, Brown must pay $2,500 in restitution, $2,500 in probation expenses, a mere $30 criminal conviction fees and $400 for a domestic violence fund.

But remember this isn’t exactly about money. This is more about his time. The judge is not making Brown’s life easy for the next five years, that is for sure. It looks like he will have plenty of time to think about what he has done, and hopefully he will come out of this a better man because of it.
