Artie Lange was busted for suspicion of DUI Friday afternoon in New Jersey.

My guess is Artie is on another one of his infamous benders.

Lange was arrested around 3:00 PM EST in Toms River after he was involved in a car accident.

This guy is a walking dead man. Seriously, he has admitted to doing outrageous amounts of cocaine and drinking massive quantities of booze for years now. (Although recently he has claimed over and over that he is clean & sober..) He always drives, and yes, sometimes his stories of getting wasted are absolutely hysterical, but in reality, it’s not that funny.

It’s only funny until he kills someone – or himself.

Former U.S. skating champion Nicole Bobeck is facing 10 years in prison after being busted for her involvement in a meth-ring in New Jersey.

Bobeck, 31, faced a judge via county jail video Monday, dressed in inmate attire, her former blond hair cut short and dyed dark.

Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio says the former athlete was “actively involved in the upper echelon of this ring . . . She played a significant role in this operation.”

Numerous people were arrested in the sting. They were responsible for more than $10,000 worth of crystal meth sales a week in the area.

Bobeck has been ordered to stay in jail, her bail set at $200,000.

It’s not clear of she was a user of the drug, but birds of a feather flock together, kids. Anyone who is crazy enough to deal meth is most likely an ice head.

Joyce Dewitt, best known for her role as Janet Wood on the 70s/80s sitcom, Three’s Company, was pulled over Saturday after she failed to stop for a police barricade.

El Segundo Police Sgt. Dean Howard told E!: “An officer saw DeWitt drive a vehicle past a barricade intended to control vehicular traffic near a park. As the officer spoke with DeWitt, he observed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication.”

She was given a field sobriety test (that she failed) and was arrested. She posted $5000 bail and was released.

I’m not sure what to add to this story, except that her mugshot looks like sh*t!

But for those of you who grew up in the 70s or 80s, who did not love this show? Sure it was totally cheesy, but some of the characters on there were great. All of them were really. Mr. & Mrs. Roper were the best – Mrs. Roper was off the chain. Hot home-permanent bitch in a muumuu!

Pete Doherty was arrested in Switzerland Friday after being caught shooting heroin during a flight.

Pete disappeared to the bathroom about halfway through the British Airways flight and was in there for about 25 minutes. Once the plane was nearing it’s destination passengers were called back to their seats – but Pete didn’t come out. So staff opened the door and found him slumped over with a needle nearby.

He was escorted back to his coach seat, looking like hell.

The pilot called the police and Pete was promptly arrested when they touched ground.

He was fined and allowed to perform a scheduled show at the Neuchatel Open Air music festival. He is now back in London.

A Geneva police rep stated: “We were contacted by the captain of a BA flight and a passenger was controlled by police. He was charged but I cannot say what with. He paid a fine and was allowed to go.”

Pete has been telling everyone that he’s been clean but, DUH, he’s a junkie. Junkies lie. Especially about being sober.

Chivalry is dead…unless you’re Kiefer Sutherland.

Kiefer took it to another level Monday night at a Met Costume Institute Gala after party.

Rumor has it that Kiefer witnessed a man (Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCullough) knock over Brooke Shields. Whether he completely knocked her down or just bumped into her is not known. (Or if he touched her at all..) But after Kiefer saw it happen he marched right over to Mr. McCullough and demanded he apologize to Shields.

That’s when the designer had enough of Kiefer and, according to witnesses, shoved him. Well, Kiefer is not one to back down, so in return, he headbutted McCullough. You know, just playground stuff. Heh.

If you recall, Kiefer is on probation, stemming from his DUI arrest. Bad, Kiefer!

Brooke Shields has come forward, and is describing her side of the story. As they say, every story has three sides. Yours, theirs, and the truth!

Brooke claims that Mr. McCullough did nothing to merit a headbutting by Kiefer. Her publicist told TMZ, “Jack did nothing inappropriate. It’s not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did.”

Rut-roh, was Kiefer drunk again? But wait, he had his pants on, right?

According to this report Kiefer broke McCullough’s nose.

Kiefer’s a bad boy alright, and don’t you forget it!

Police are backing up Kiefer’s side of the story! So Brooke, whatcha hidin’, honey? And yeah, people say Kiefer was drunk at the time of the incident. No shocker there..

Jayson Williams, the former NBA star who was charged with reckless manslaughter after shooting and killing his chauffeur in 2002, was tasered around 4:00 AM this morning at a New York hotel room after trashing it.

Hotel employees, who described Williams as suicidal, called police and reported that the former New Jersey Net was refusing to leave his room. They said he was out of control, destroying his room and terrifying guests.

Police arrived on the scene and tried to get Williams to come out of his hotel room peacefully, but instead he went into a rage. Law enforcement officials eventually were forced to use a taser gun on the athlete.

Empty prescription bottles littered his room.

Williams has been hospitalized and is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.

Redmond O’Neal faced a judge this morning and asked for leniency after violating his probation by testing positive for heroin and being in possession of the drug at a rehab treatment center.

Redmond milked the fact that his mother was sick, telling the courts his mother weighs a shocking 86 pounds and pleading that he wants to be there for her. “I want to be there for my mom. My mom only weighs 86 pounds right now and I’m sorry your honor.”

That’s funny. Suddenly he wants to be there for his ailing mother, but what about him being arrested a couple weeks ago at a jail facility in possession of heroin AGAIN? His mother was ill that day too, but his priority was to smuggle H into jail for a junkie friend.

Surprisingly, the judge gave Redmond one more chance. But he warned Redmond, if he screws up one more time he will do hard time.

Judge Scott Wellington threatened, “If I see you back in that chair, it won’t be pretty. If you fail in the drug program, I will sentence you to state prison for over three years.You need to know you have a serious problem. Get your act together. My role is changing now, you need to understand that.  We are going to be placing you in a more stringent program than Clearview was.”

Wellington ordered O’Neal to remain in custody until at least April 30th when he will be sentenced to a rehabilitation center. Redmond will face another judge on April 24th for the jail incident.

How sad and devastating for Farrah. Any dying mother would only wish to be surrounded by her loved ones during her last days. Redmond has deprived his mother of that. I just don’t see this kid straightening up. Unfortunately I have a feeling that three year sentence will come about some time in the near future..

Jamie Waylett, who played Vincent Crabbe in all five Harry Potter flicks, was busted in London last week after police found him and a friend in possession of some wacky tobacky.

Waylett, 19, and friend were popped after cops found eight baggies of pot in their vehicle. (On this side of the pond they will get you for intent to sell if it’s divvied up like that. Not sure if the same holds true on that side.)

Later that day, police searched the actor’s home and found plants and equipment for growing marijuana.

Both men are expected to be in court in July.

After being caught in a jail parking lot with heroin, Redmond O’Neal was formally charged today.

The son of actor Ryan O’Neal and actress Farrah Fawcett, Redmond, was on his way to visit an incarcerated friend when he was stopped for a random security search. He admitted to having the drugs and was arrested immediately.

It has been speculated that he was attempting to sneak the drugs in to his friend.

His arraignment, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed until April 24th. He is still in custody and his bail has been set at $75,000. Prosecutors had recommended his bail be set at $50,000.

Redmond, 24, is currently serving a three-year probation for his 2008 DUI/drug charges.
