Paris Hilton Unveils Her New Hair Extension Line for Sally Beauty Supply in New York City
Thursday, May 8th, 2008Paris Hilton launched her new line of hair extensions in New York today.
The extensions, Clipin-Go by Paris Hilton, will be available at Sally Beauty Supply in ten different shades. They are currently only available in the 18″ length, but more variations and colors will be available in the near future.
Mike Spinozzi, president of Sally Beauty Supply, said, “It’s a powerful combination and we’re excited to work with Paris. She’s business-savvy and very creative.”
Hilton said at the launching, “I’ve been wearing hair extensions for years and have tried other products that didn’t work. When I started using DreamCatchers from my line I started using the best quality and styles. I’m always coming up with new ideas because I love coming up with fun hairstyles.”
The Barbie hair will retail for $79.99.

Rihanna Does Fashion Against AIDS
Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008Rihanna is working alongside with H&M to launch a fashion line aimed at raising AIDS awareness among young adults.
The collection, called Fashion Against AIDS will include T-shirts, hoodies and tanks. The campaign targets 15 to 24-year olds and will launch in February.
Prices are expected to range from $12 to $34, and 25 percent of the sales will go to HIV/AIDS-prevention projects around the world.
Rihanna released a statement regarding the project, “Supporting YouthAIDS through the Fashion Against AIDS campaign was a great way to encourage my fans to join me in the fight against HIV/AIDS. I love that H&M is providing a fashionable and easy way for young people all over the world to get involved in this worthy cause.”
Other musicians involved include Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance, Timbaland and Ziggy Marley.
