A former girlfriend of ex-Met player Roberto Alomar is claiming that that the baseball player knowingly exposed her and her children to the AIDS virus.

Ilya Dall, 31, was Alomar’s girlfriend from 2002 until last October. Dall says although she saw signs of his health deteriorating, Alomar denied he had the virus and insisted on having unprotected sex.

Dall is suing Alomar for $15 million dollars for punitive damages and emotional distress.

The suit claims that “he jeopardized the health, well-being and life of the plaintiff, which caused her to have a fear of contracting AIDS, often referred to as AIDS phobia.”

Dall claims that after a couple years of trying to convince him to be tested that Alomar finally agreed in 2006 after suffering a cough, fatigue and shingles. She also claims that it was confirmed he had the deadly disease after having a spinal tap which showed he had full-blown AIDS. According to the suit, at that time his skin had turned purple and he was foaming at the mouth.

She says after the tests came back positive that she quit having unprotected sex with him, but up until that point he vehemently denied having AIDS.

His father, Mets bench coach Sandy Alomar says he finds it hard to believe that his son has the disease. He stated, “That’s the first time we ever heard of that…I imagine I would know.”

Alomar’s attorney refused to disclose whether or not his client has AIDS but he did say that the lawsuit was ridiculous. “We believe this is a totally frivolous lawsuit. These allegations are baseless. He’s healthy and would like to keep his health status private. We’ll do our talking in court.”

Dall claims that during her time with Alomar that she noticed cold sores in his mouth, a persistent cough, thrush, and was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia purpura, a blood disorder sometimes linked to HIV.

The lawsuit also claims that he told her he was raped by two Hispanic men when he was 17.

Alomar, 41, quit baseball due to health issues in 2005.

Ok, so when you apply for the job of celebrity stalker, a.k.a. the position of a paparazzo, you damn well better know the hazards of the job.

If you’re being a pain in the ass, you had better expect the celebs bodyguard to give you a swift kick in the ass – or worse.

That’s exactly what photographer Emicles Da Mata had happen to him.

Mr. Da Mata filed suit in a Los Angeles court Monday claiming that David Beckham and his bodyguard roughed him up last December while snapping shots of the star.

Da Mata says that Beckham reached into his car and forcefully tried to take his camera from him. He also says that Beckham’s bodyguard beat the hell out of him before throwing his camera into a garbage bin.

He is suing for assault and battery, and of course, emotional distress.

Lisuka Cohen, the skank in question

Liskula Cohen, some model you probably have never heard of, is suing Google over what an anonymous blogger said about her on their blog.

The blogger called the 36-year-old model the “#1 skanky superstar,” a “fortysomething [who] may have been hot 10 years ago,” and an “old hag” on their blogger hosted site.

They also wrote, “Desperation seeps from her soul, if she even has one.”

Well, we know how models, especially aging ones, can get their panties into a bunch when not being fawned over, and Cohen is no exception. She is determined, with the help of a legal team, to reveal the identity of the anonymous hater who vented their dislike for her on the internet.

The defamation suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, seeks a court order compelling Google and its Blogger.com service to identify whoever led the vicious Internet assault against Cohen.

Her lawyer Steven Wagner conceded it’s not easy to identify bloggers who lob insults anonymously, as New York courts have generally declined to force them into the light.

“We think we have a case,” he said. “This is libelous, it’s defamatory and you shouldn’t just get away with this.”

Of the sharp-tongued internet blogger’s comments, Cohen says, “It’s petty, it’s stupid and it’s pathetic. And when I do find out who did this, at least I’ll know who my enemies are.”

Why this woman, who has modeled for Armani and Versace, cares, is beyond me. She MUST have serious insecurity issues.

Another “anonymous” writer, (who I am assuming must be Cohen herself and goes by the handle of “liveandlove”), has responded to the stabbing remarks on the site, defending the model and trashing the writer.

Liveandlove responds, “Are you one of those little dumpy girls who hang off her every word? Or do you wait three hours in line at a club, when she breezes right in?”

The commenter goes on to say that the hater must be a “silly, silly fat girl…Tell me, are you easier to walk over or around?”

Cohen tearfully explains that she is disgusted and offended by the site’s claims and blames the entire incident on jealousy.

“I’m tall, I’m blond, I’ve been modeling for many years, and people get jealous. If I had to deal with everyone who is jealous, I wouldn’t have time to do anything else.”

So then, sweetheart, tell us why you are suing again?

Cohen made the news last year after a doorman of a nightclub hit her in the face with a vodka bottle.

Hmmm…you think the doorguy could be the culprit?  I do! I do!

Dennis Quaid and his wife have settled with Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a mistake by hospital employees nearly took the lives of their infant twins last year.

A settlement of $750,000 has been reached in the case of the accidental overdose of Quaid’s children. The babies were accidentally given 1000 times the recommended dose of the blood thinner Heparin which left them in critical condition.

The drug’s manufacturer Baxter Healthcare Corp. is being sued by the couple who claims that it’s confusing labels led to the overdose.

They also claim that the company knew that there had been accidental deaths in the past due to this problem but yet failed to redesign the labels or recall the vials which hold a high concentration of the drug.

A couple months ago I told you about Courtenay Semel’s drunken altercation with a security guard in Las Vegas that ended up with her arrest.

(In case you’ve already forgotten, Semel is the daughter of former Yahoo! CEO, Terry Semel, and currently the girlfriend of Tila Tequila.)

Back in August, Semel was arrested after smacking Pure nightclub security guard, Jaroslaw Jarczok, in the back of the head while exiting the club. It was around 4 a.m. and according to Jarczok she was “quite intoxicated due to alcohol and/or chemical or other substances.”

He eventually detained her with handcuffs, which only led to a foul mouthed tirade against him. In the midst of it all, Courtenay had to remind him of who he was dealing with. She screamed at him,

“Do you even know who I am, f**king idiot? Google me, you dumb f**k.”

In a lawsuit filed yesterday in L.A. County Court, Jarczok claims he’s been humiliated and “anxious about receiving harassing comments by friends.”

Oh yeah? Well wait til they catch wind of you suing her! Then you’re really going to be butt of all your friends jokes, you dumbass. C’mon dude, we all know you make $9 an hour to bounce at a club and the extra cash would sure be fun to spend, wouldn’t it?

Jarcozk is requesting unspecified damages…which means he will settle out of court for a lump sum.

Samantha Ronson has paid her outstanding balance of more than $86,000 to Perez Hilton in a judgement awarded to the blogger one year ago.

Ronson was due in court today, for not paying the balance, but paid off her debt last Friday and will not have to appear in court.

Troll blogger was sued by Ronson last year for defamation after he claimed that the cocaine found in Lindsay Lohan’s car after her May 2007 car crash was hers.

The case ended up being thrown out, but the troll blogger was awarded more than $86,000 to cover his legal fees.

Troll’s lawyer Bryan J. Freeman confirms that Ronson has paid her debts saying, “For fear of having to appear in court, she paid off the judgement.”

Bianca Golden speaks publicly for the first time with Tyra Banks about the airport incident that involved herself, her mother and actress Nikki Blonsky and Blonsky’s father.

The incident happened on July 29th in a Bahamian airport where Golden and family were returning from a family reunion after her grandfather had passed away.

Golden says that Nikki became “very rude to my aunt,” and an argument broke out between the two families.

She claims that Blonsky’s father, Carl, punched her mother, knocking her off her feet.

“He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom.”

If what Golden says is true, the Blonsky family got pretty vicious.

She goes on,

“She [Nikki] takes her foot and kicks my mom in her vagina, and that’s when my mom fell out completely.

“When Nikki kicked my mom I went and grabbed her arm and she grabbed my earring. Her mom sat on her to get her off of me cause her mom saw what was happening and that was that.”

After the incident, Golden’s mother was  airlifted to the hospital with internal bleeding, a broken nose and a fractured skull. Golden says her mother still has a bruised face, more than two months later.

Bianca, Carl and Nikki were all arrested on assault and a lawsuit is pending.

Why do I have a feeling that Bianca is leaving out a huge chunk of the story? Not that she is at fault here, but I doubt the family attacked her mother unprovoked. I’m sure her mom was talking mad sh*t before the attack! I bet you anything she called Blonsky a ‘fat bitch’! Wanna bet?  Heh.

Most lawyers are slime – except for when you need them. And even then..

Britney Spears indeed needed counsel to help in her custody battle with ex-husband, Kevin Federline. However, she’s getting reamed by Stacy Phillips, one of her attorneys who served the pop princess between the months of March and June.

According to a declaration filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the “Sometimes I Run” songstress owes $338,414.87 to Phillips for $700-an-hour services rendered between March and June—and there are rumors of a lawsuit in the works, because Spears’ camp is objecting to the hefty sum.

But that’s a discount, says the attorney, who states that the tab includes “time already deducted as a courtesy,” time “written off” and $75,000 that she expects to get next month.

Phillips was dismissed before Spears’ custody settlement was reached last month with the help of Spears’ recently reinstated family lawyer Laura Wasser, who broke ranks last fall but returned in time to help Spears obtain more visitation privileges with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Wasser’s most recent bill, encompassing two months of counsel, totals $60,075, per another declaration filed on behalf of the law firm of Wasser, Cooperman & Carter.

But because her firm has already applied Spears’ $25,000 retainer fee toward her bill, she’s requesting no more than half of the total sum at this time.

Why so high, you might ask?

Phillips says that Spears’ conservatorship arrangement, which has gotten much of the credit for her 180-degree turn for the better over the last five months, made her case more complex.

Indeed. Attorneys for dad Jamie Spears indicated in court last week that they intend to contest his little girl’s legal bills. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 16 to discuss Phillips’ fee.

Doesn’t that seem outrageous? Not surprising though. That’s a lawyer for ya.

Not a smart move on Phillips’ part as she will getting some negative publicity regarding this and everyone will know what an overpaid greedy douche she is.

50 Cent is suing Taco Bell after they used his name in a marketing ploy to advertise their prices.

Taco Bell President Greg Creed officially asked the rapper to change his name from 50 Cent to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent and promised $10K to his favorite charity if he agreed. He wrote,

“We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change. We encourage you to ‘Think Outside the Bun’ and hope you accept our offer.”

You had to admit, it was funny, but you knew he would never do it.

Well Fiddy isn’t laughing. He’s pissed that his fans are accusing him of being a sellout and he feels the company used his name to sell their products. He’s asking for $1 million.

Lawsuit documents read,

“Taco Bell traded on the name of the world’s biggest hip-hop star to draw attention to its new, hip-hop-based advertising campaign, and thereby generated massive publicity for its business.”

I’m sure Taco Bell is still loving all this attention. A piddly million was completely worth all the advertising they got from this – and then some.
