I am wondering if Jessica Simpson got a new puppy…?

As you know, Jessica’s last dog, Daisy, was killed by wild coyotes. In these pics, snapped yesterday in New York, one of Jessica’s entourage has a pup, which looks a lot like Daisy. When I first saw these pics I thought it may have been Jessica’s new puppy…but I have since changed my mind. I think Jessica would have tweeted about the pup if it had been hers, and alas, I see no puppy tweets.

Hopefully she finds a new munchkin soon, it is so hard to lose a pet!

Kellan Lutz for PETA

Twilight star Kellan Lutz is the latest celebrity to take part in a PETA campaign.

Lutz’s goal is to bring awareness to the dangers of puppy mills and pet stores. He is hoping to encourage people to adopt pets from shelters and rescues rather than buying them. In the ad campaign he is shown with his dog, Kola.

Kellan says, “It’s our job to take [animals] under our wing and take care of them and give them a place to live.”

Animals sold in pet shops often come from “puppy mills,” where they are housed in cramped, filthy, and unhealthy conditions and lack proper veterinary care. Kellan tells PETA, “Kola is my best friend.” If you’re thinking about bringing an animal into your home, be sure always to adopt and never to buy.”

Jesse James’ dog Cinnabun was found and returned to Jesse and the gang at West Coast Choppers today.

CINNABUN IS FOUND!!!

OUR GIRL CAME HOME TODAY!

The search is over! We got a call from a gal by the name of Rosaura in Los Angeles today saying she had Cinny. Since we have had quite a few false alarms, we were cautiously optimistic. She said she’d bring Cinnabun to us, and everyone at the shop was really anxious for her to get here to see if it was, in fact, Cinny. The car pulls in, the door flings open, and out pops Cinnabun! It’s been just over 3 weeks since we last saw her, and were starting to wonder if we’d ever get her back…and there she was.

She’s in good shape…maybe a few pounds thinner than when she left. But super happy to be home. We’re taking her to the vet to get her all checked out and chipped, and GPS’d, and live-tracked by Google Earth…the works. We don’t want to lose this little gal again!!!

Thanks to everyone who sent us emails, calls, and well wishes over the past few weeks, and a BIG thanks to Rosaura in Los Angeles who found her and brought her back.West Coast thanks you all, and a special thanks from Mr.T who is happy to have his little buddy back. Let the barking, wrastlin’, and bone chasing begin!

I am SO HAPPY for Jesse AND Cinnabun. How tough to lose your dog and not know their fate. But luckily Cinnabun was returned safe and sound. Now, for the woman who returned her….I wonder – did the person who took Cinnabun send her (with a baby, no doubt) to return Cinnabun? Or did Rosaura really find her? I’m sure at this point Jesse doesn’t even care, I know that he is just happy to have his baby back.

Congrats, Jesse and Cinnabun, we are SO HAPPY for you!

I like Kel. In fact, I love the entire Osbourne family. Dysfunctional, a little crazy but definitely always very real.

James’ dog, “CinnaBun” in better times.

Jesse James’ beloved dog, CinnaBun, has gone missing.

James posted photos of the dog, a pitbull, on his Twitter account (@frankyluckman) with the caption:

” ‘CinnaBun’ is our shop dog & pet. She has been missing since 2pm yesterday. If you find her plz call 562-983-6666.”

James is in the Long Beach area. Please keep an eye out for this darling girl, who is probably scared and missing her daddy! CinnaBun has been missing since 2pm Tuesday.

We wish you THE BEST in finding CinnaBun, Jesse! This breaks my heart. I just hope nobody stole her. I took my babies to the vet yesterday and was saddened to see all the “Lost Dog/Cat” postings there. Now I feel bad for bitching how big the vet bill was. Worth every red cent.

If you find her, please take good care of her and return her to her rightful owner.

Miley Cyrus toted her DARLING puppy around while shopping in West Hollywood this weekend.

Isn’t that little pup freaking adorable? Good thing she is carrying it now, because from the looks of things she won’t be able to much longer! That lil’ puppy is going to be a big, fluffy doggy someday soon. Precious, I wanna snuggle with it!

Mickey Rourke is reportedly engaged to 24-year-old girlfriend, Elena Kuletskaya.

Although they’ve recently been spotted together on numerous occasions, the two denied there was any romance between them. Maybe they were denying it because she was engaged to some Russian singer….? It seems that’s not the case anymore.

Mickey and Elena visited a NY pet store recently and were seen being all lovey-dovey. Not only with each other, but with a puppy. That’s right, a pet store puppy.

A friend of mine, a huge dog lover and Mickey Rourke fan, reminded me today that he once did a video for PETA, talking about how people should rescue dogs instead of getting them from pet stores. (Fact: Many pet stores get their dogs from puppy mills!)

In the video (below) Mickey talks about a friend whose pet store adopted pup had the parvo virus, blah, blah, blah, etc…but all that anti-pet store talk went right out the window when his new fiancée zeroed in on the puppy.

Come on Mickey, practice what you preach! We all know what a HUGE dog lover you are, so why are you doing the very thing you told other dog lovers not to do? We thought you were smarter than that. I still love you, but Mickey, wake up from your erection induced coma, baby!
