Pink Turns to Scientology?

Friday, September 12th, 2008

Pink may become the most recent celebrity to join the Church of Scientology.

Since splitting with her husband Carey Hart earlier this year, Pink has been spending a lot of time with wacky friend, Juliette Lewis, who is a member of the church.

Juliette has probably been showing Pink the ropes and introducing her to all the higher uppers, so the clan can get to work on recruiting her.

A source tells Star magazine, “Pink is in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has taken to it and she wants to get more involved.”

Heidi Montag Wants to Record a Christian Album

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Heidi Montag is threatening to put out another album, but this time in a different genre.

‘The Hills’ actress wants to record a Christian album.

Montag, 21, describes herself as a non-denominational Baptist who reads the Bible often.

Before becoming attention-whore-extraordinaire, she considered becoming a missionary in Africa. In fact, she and Spencer have plans to go there in August to “feed children and help build things.”

“I have been the most religious person since I was 2 years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God,” she said.

I hope that Heidi and Spencer are really going there to help and not just for some much needed attention from the press- their reason for doing pretty much everything else in life.

You can’t help but wonder if the camera crew will be tagging along . .

Dr. Drew Pinsky: “Tom Cruise May Have Mental Illness”

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

We all know that Tom Cruise doesn’t like doctors, modern medicine or people who are anti-Scientology, so after Dr. Drew Pinsky was quoted as saying the actor may have a mental illness, he threw his lawyers on it.

In next month’s Playboy, Dr. Drew says, “A lot of people in the public eye who behave strangely have mental illness we can learn from, and much of it is based on childhood trauma, without a doubt. Take a guy like Tom Cruise. Why would somebody be drawn into a cultish kind of environment like Scientology? To me, that’s a function of a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect in childhood - maybe some abuse, but mostly neglect.”

So far Cruise himself has failed to comment on the matter, but instead had his attorney speak for him.

“This unqualified television performer who is obviously just looking for notoriety is so grotesquely unprofessional as to pretend to diagnose Tom and others without ever meeting them. He seems to be spewing the absurdity that all Scientologists are mentally ill. The last time we heard garbage like this was from Joseph Goebbels [a Nazi propagandist].”

Yeah well, Dr. P is super yummy hot, and I’ll believe whatever he tells me! Although that may stem from some childhood traum…oh nevermind.

Ashton and Demi Shunning Kabballah?

Monday, January 28th, 2008

Kabballah’s Hollywood power couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have stopped attending the Kabballah Center in LA after previously having a spotless attendance record.

Many people are wondering if the influential, front runners for the once trendy religion are considering dropping their faith.

A source that runs with the Kabballah crowd says, “Ashton and Demi used to have an impeccable attendance record.”

Another source adds that it’s been “months” since they have been at a service or attended the Shabbat dinner on Friday’s after services.

To add fuel to the fire, Kutcher was out shopping on Robertson Blvd. last week, sans the little red string.

Are the forces of Scientology getting through to Demi and Ashton? Because you know Kabballah is SO 2006..

“Just because our beliefs are different, does that mean we are not allowed to be friends? Does that mean I need to take out my Bible and club him with it? Our Twin Towers came down because of ignorant religious fundamentalism.”

- Will Smith refuses to listen to criticism about his Scientologist pal Tom Cruise

Someone Needs to Smack Madonna!

Monday, November 8th, 2004

Would you buy a $26 red string bracelet
said to “deflect envious stares and looks of ill will” & then surround your entire religion around it?
Hello Kabbalah, celebrity-style. Translation…C-u-l-t!

Jewish Rabbi’s have said the celebrity version of the religion is loosely based on the real thing, but more focused on the water , bracelets, stones and things material that you must purchase in order to feel…I suppose, adequately equipped to join the fun.

Madonna started the whole thing and brought people such as Britney Spears, Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher into the act. So of course, the bandwagon is making extra trips to Hollywood. It’s latest stop, Lindsay Lohan and then Mariah Carey’s place.

“Anyone who dons The Red String with the awareness of Rachel the Matriarch and these powerful meditations is surrounded by the full force of protection she manifested in our physical world.” (Quote from Kabbalah.com)

Screw that, if you want to read some great smut about the trendy Kabbalah Center I suggest you go here for some pretty good readin’ about this celebrity fad. Dolce & Kabbalah

Oh by the way, is this what they meant by powerful meditations, Madonna?
