Amy Mickelson, the wife of golf legend Phil Mickelson, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Further tests are being conducted, but Amy, 37, is expected to have surgery within the next couple of weeks.

Phil has dropped out of the H.P. Byron Nelson Championship in Dallas and has suspended his schedule indefinitely.

The couple met in Phoenix while at Arizona State University. They have three children, Amanda, 9, Sophia, 7, and Evan, 6.

Tim Finchem, commissioner of the PGA Tour, released the following statement:

“We are saddened by the news of Amy Mickelson’s diagnosis, but are hopeful that with the support of Phil and her family and friends, she will come through this difficult time. The thoughts and prayers of everyone connected with the PGA Tour are with the Mickelson family.”

Deborra-Lee Furness is an Australian actress, director and producer born in 1955.

She is also married to the “World’s Sexiest Man,” Hugh Jackman!

She met actor Hugh Jackman when they co-starred on the Australian series Correlli in 1995, and the couple married in February 1996. Furness is also a partner in the production company Jackman founded with John Palermo, Seed Productions.

Natasha Richardson’s family has decided to take the actress off life support after she was critically injured in a bizarre fall.

Richardson was in Montreal, Canada when she suffered a fall while taking a beginner’s ski lesson. Instructors say she seemed fine for an hour afterward but then began complaining of a headache. Shortly after she was rushed to the hospital.

Rumors have abounded in the past 24+ hours, including erroneous reports of her death yesterday.

Natasha, who is the wife of Liam Neeson, daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and sister to actress Joely Richardson, was flown to New York’s Lennox Hill hospital where family was expected to hold vigil.

We have learned that Richardson suffered bleeding between her brain and skull causing her to be brain dead. No other details are currently known.

Our condolences to Natasha’s loved ones. Truly terrible news.

Actress Natasha Richardson, wife of Liam Neeson, has been critically injured in a ski accident in Canada.

Richardson suffered traumatic brain injuries in the accident. She is currently at a Montreal hospital.

The whereabouts of Neeson is not currently known.

Richardson has appeared in such films as Gothic, Nell, The Parent Trap and Chelsea Walls.

You’ve most likely already heard about Kanye and his new lady pal, model Amber Rose.

Amber was in a long term lesbian relationship before hooking up with Kanye.

This weekend the couple were spotted shopping at H Lorenzo boutique and dining at La Petite Four in West Hollywood. Kanye drove her around in his $800,000 Mercedes McLaren SLR.

As for Amber’s past girlfriend, here are some photos of the two. It looks like the ex is stuck with an unfortunate ‘I Love A’ tattoo on her neck. Gah, I wonder if it spells out Amber, or if it’s just an ‘A’. Either way. Bad tattoo, worse placement.

Shauna Sand and her on-again/off-again husband Roman Chaivent have been soaking up the attention of the paparazzi in Miami this past week.

The couple were recently spotted on Segways and cruising on jet skis. (Is that Shauna’s box painted on the jet ski?!) They are basically the Heidi and Spencer of the beach lately. It’s photo-op heaven for them.

You have to wonder about these two. Just last month Shauna filed a restraining order against Roman, claiming he punched her in the breasts after she had surgery on them, he strangled her and threw her against a wall, and he had threatened to sell naked pics of her kids. What a guy. Or she’s a fibber…which do you think it is?

I can’t help but be suspicious with all the lovey-dovey photos that have been taken lately. Is he persuading her to take the pics to ‘prove’ to the media that they are ‘in love’ and show what a great guy he is? Abusers do that sort of over-the-top public display of affection sometimes to make the outside world see something other than what is happening..

But still, I’m sure Shauna primps every morning with the tabloids in mind before heading out in her stripper heels to be photographed (secretly of course) by the paparazzi. Whether she is being abused by her husband or not.
