He will be arraigned this afternoon on charges of assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats.The courts name Rihanna as the victim, listing her by her real name, Robyn F., (Robyn Rihanna Fenty).
If convicted, Brown’s penalty could vary greatly. Either he could get off with probation, or worst case scenario (for him) would be nearly five years in prison.
He is currently free on $50,000 bail.
Here’s what went down.
It all started in the car when Rihanna read a three-page text message from a female sent to Brown on his phone. The couple argued and Brown became angry. At some point he tried forcing her out of the car but the seatbelt she was wearing kept her in her seat. This enraged Brown even more, so he slammed her head against the passenger window. When she turned to face him he punched her in the face and kept punching as he drove.
He told her, “I’m going to beat the f**k out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”
Rihanna, afraid for her safety, called her assistant and told her, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.”
That’s when Brown went completely ballistic.
He threatened, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.”
The report goes on to say that Brown continued to punch Rihanna, biting her ear and fingers and putting her in a choke hold causing her to nearly lose consciousness.
Rihanna told the police that this wasn’t the first time she had been beat. She added that the beatings have escalated.
Also, TMZ is reporting that the original leaked police photo of Rihanna is one of the better ones. There were many others taken that night that showed the damage done as being far worse. Police also have Rihanna’s blood spattered Gucci dress from that night and photos of blood in the car they were driving.
According to Star magazine, Rihanna and Chris Brown didn’t just reunite, they got hitched. Keep in mind that none of this has been confirmed, but it hasn’t been denied either.
The magazine goes on to claim that after meeting up at P. Diddy’s Miami mansion, Chris apologized for his actions and Rihanna happily accepted. Shortly after Chris proposed.
“All she’s ever wanted was to be with him forever,” a source tells Star. “Rihanna is looking for the husband-and-two-kids deal before she turns 25. She believes in fairy tales, and she wants to live hers with Chris. She was totally up front and confessed to him, ‘I can’t live without you.’”
As the story goes, the couple called in a minister and were married right away.
Time will tell if this rumor proves to be true, but if it is a fact, it’s pretty damn creepy.
Usher spoke out about the pics in a video for Jermaine Dupri’s Living the Life series.
He said,
“I’m a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo (of Rihanna’s beaten & bruised face)! C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”
Brown’s arraignment is on Thursday. Maybe then we’ll see some remorse.

A source told People magazine that the couple are “staying close to home.”
They are staying at Miami Beach’s Star Island at one of the homes of P. Diddy.
Reports of Chris Brown partying with Kim Kardashian this weekend were false. As it turns out, Kardashian’s boyfriend Reggie Bush has a good friend who was with them who looks just like Brown.
Brown was spotted enjoying the water this weekend, riding a jet ski.
The photo shows bumps on Rihanna’s forehead, a severly cut lip and a black eye.
Poor thing, he beat the hell out of her!

Most are hesitant to form an opinion being as they don’t know what actually transpired, while others are making no qualms about it.
One of the most outspoken people has been Gayle King, Oprah’s BFF. She is not empathetic towards Brown despite him claiming to be extremely remorseful.
She says, “I can’t think of anything that makes me support anything that Chris Brown is saying at this time. And my heart just aches for Rihanna.”
Former American Idol Carrie Underwood seems to have a pretty good perspective on things. She told Us magazine, “I don’t think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice because, thank goodness, I’ve never star been in any kind of abusive situation. You hear a new one every five minutes, and some of them are getting kind of ridiculous. I really hope everyone will lay off and just let everybody who’s involved figure out everything first.”
Jay-Z, who helped Rihanna launch her career and considers her to be a little sister, is on Team Rihanna. “This is a real situation. You have to have compassion for others. Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that. I just think we should all support her. She’s going through a tough time. You have to realize she’s a young girl, as well. She’s very young.”
For some reason, Heidi Montag was asked her opinion, and for once in her life, she didn’t make it all about her. “I don’t know what happened there, but our thoughts and prayers go out to both of them. It’s such a crazy situation. I hope everything heals. I don’t know what to say.”
Lindsay Lohan, who has been in (and is still in) some pretty crazy relationships has chosen to stay out of it. She says, “I have no comment on that. That’s not my relationship. I have no reason to speak about it. I think they’re both great people.” Well, yeah. She already has her hands full with her own relationship!
R&B queen Mary J. Blige simply says she loves them both. “They’re both young and beautiful people, and that’s it.”
And Mark Curry looks at the bigger picture. “Women, throughout history, have been beaten and prostituted. Even today in movies and music, they’re portrayed as low-grade, so you know, he’s a youngster, and he can correct his ways. It’s just a tragedy – women and abuse.”

Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, has also come forward, speaking about his daughter and assuring everyone that she will be ok. He said, “There is some bruising. She will be alright. I think so. At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world.”
Fenty says he visited with his daughter Thursday in her native Barbados. She is there spending time with friends, getting support and escaping the media frenzy here in the states.
