Christina Ricci Calls Off Engagement

Christina Ricci is reportedly single again.

Ricci has allegedly called off her engagement to boyfriend Owen Benjamin, who seems like a giant compared to the tiny actress.

Benjamin, a comedian, has been with Ricci since October. The couple were engaged in March.

A source claims that earlier this week Owen had a birthday party and that they seemed fine but they had a fight shortly after which was severe enough for them to decide to split. However, they are still friends.

The source says: “They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends.”

Christina Ricci says she was already afraid of monkeys before being attacked by one on the set of her latest movie, Penelope.

The chimpanzee, Chim Chim, grabbed hold of the actresses boob and refused to let go.

She explains, “I’m afraid of monkeys but I had decided not to be afraid of this monkey because no one else is. ‘Everyone else thinks he’s awesome so just be cool.’

“It’s the first day of shooting and I have this kitchen scene where I’m sitting down and the monkey is sitting right next to me. Of course it freaks out during the take and grabs my left breast and will not let go, and he’s so strong. I’m thinking, ‘This thing is gonna rip it’s hand away and I will no longer have a boob there!’

“I’m so freaked out and the whole rest of the actors are turned around so no one sees that this has happened to me and I’m like, ‘Help, help’ as quietly and calmly as possible so this thing does not freak out any further.
“Finally they got him off me but my fear is completely validated and I did not go near him for the rest of the shoot… Monkeys are crazy and you never what they’ll grab onto; I don’t like unpredictable animals.”

Christina Ricci took a fans displeasure to heart. After Ricci was spotted wearing fur, a fan pulled the plug on her Ricci fansite. Ricci was also named as one of PETA’s Worst Dressed. Christina told PETA, “For what it is worth, I have received the message loud and clear and will not be wearing fur in the future.”

Britney Spears has been named the Worst Celebrity Dog Owner. New York Dog and Hollywood Dog magazines polled readers as to who was the Worst Celebrity Dog Owner of 2006. Funny, I figured Paris would have had that one in the bag. Dog owners needn’t fret anymore, Britney no longer owns the dogs. Remember stories of how she and Kevin let their dogs crap on everything? I bet that had something to do with it.

Rumors of celebrity breakups are all over this week! It’s confirmed that Six Degrees star Bridget Moynahan and New England Patriots QB Tom Brady are calling it quits after three years of dating. Rumors are also running wild about Pink & Carey Hart’s marriage taking a turn for the worse. Sources say they haven’t spent hardly any time together as of late.
Another supposed marriage on the rocks is that of Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman.

Lindsay Lohan has a whole new respect for those ‘cunts’. Just what women is she referring to? Strippers of course!
In an email sent off to friends last week, Lindsay describes her pole dancing lessons she is taking for an upcoming role in, “I Know Who Killed Me,” due to begin filming in mid January. You gotta love Lindsay and her emails.
“They’re all whores, they’re all whores ..xcept for some obviously!” “So . . . 3 hours of pole dancing and bruised. everywhere . . .
